Acorn Racing 4200mAh Carbon Edition Race LiPo

Following the release of their 4200mAh 30C 2S1P 7.4V hard case race LiPo, Acorn Racing have introduced another edition of this competitive high discharge race LiPo. Fitted in a Carbon look hard casing, like its older brother this version of batteries offers extremely high voltage, long run time and consistent performance with true 30C discharge. This LiPo is further improved with a gold plated 4mm banana type connector to reduce unnecessary resistance and weighs a mere 228 grams.

Speed Passion 5.0T Competition 3.0 motor

Speed Passion have announced the 5.0 turn version of their Competition 3.0 motor. Expected to be released in mid December, it is similar in features to the previous versions, with a 20% improvement in efficiency over the previous version. Performance has also been improved with new adjustable timing allowing you to chose from smooth low, mid power kick of smooth throughout the power delivery. It also of course sports the handy new high power current plug in system that allows for simple solderless motor changes.

Acorn Racing 12V DC power supply

Acorn Racing has just sent us a sneak preview of their new prototype 12V DC power supply. This prototype was said to go through 5 design changes before the confirmation of this current piece. The digital meter on the face shows the total amperage that connected equipment is drawing and it has 2 standard outputs compared to the single output that is normally seen in the market. This power supply comes with a reverse polarity protection and it is said to be strong enough to power a tyre truer for the 1/8 scale. ABS material was chosen for the casing over anodized aluminium due to the scratch resistance nature. Expect more information following its official in December.

Two new products from Xceed RC, who have released a complete off road air filter set as well as this 4200 NiMh battery pack. The 6 cell 7.2V pack is pre assembled and comes with a Tamiya style plug, making it suitable for use in RC cars as well as starter boxes and other uses. The air filter set includes a hard plastic case and top plate that keeps the filter elements well mounted and protected. The 2 foam elements are precision cut from quality foam that is great for retaining the filter oil while allowing for optimal air flow.

Acorn Racing 4200mAh 30C hardcase LiPo battery

Acorn Racing have released this 4200mAh 30C hardcase LiPo battery. Designed using the latest technology to handle the high-current demands of today’s R/C Power applications this new series 2S1P LiPo offers extremely high voltage, long run time and superior consistent performance and true 30C discharge. Featuring a durable hardcase in order to keep the cells from being damaged during use, it also features some vertical standard Sub-C cell bulges to securely fit into standard Sub-C chassis plates. This battery measures 137x47x22mm, weighs 230 grams and is built within ROAR’s Legal specifications.
