Racers Edge 35C 4000mAh Race Edition LiPo

New from Racers Edge, is their 35C Race Edition 4000mAh LiPo battery, which features industry standard bullet ports, battery case ‘bumps’ and comes with a Deans connector wire set complete with align style balance plug. It features 35C for high output racing conditions and cycling these packs on a CE Turbo 35 shows the average internal resistance between 6.8A – 7.4A, with an average voltage between 7.31 – 7.4 volts at 35 amp discharge cycles, while run time at 35 amp discharge is between 410-430 seconds.

LRP XTEC X12 Sintered rotors

LRP have released 3 new sintered rotors for the XTEC X12 brushless modified motor and feature magnets graded on a new and strengthened shaft for optimized motor performance. The 12.0mm rotor is optimized for maximum top speed with a linear throttle feel and is the preferred choice of the LRP team on big tracks with long straights. The 12.5mm is optimized for efficiency and mid-range torque and this rotor is the perfect starting point for every setup on every track and has already been successful by winning the 2008 1/12th IFMAR World Championship and 2009 1/12th European Championship. Finally the 13.0mm rotor is optimized for maximum torque and power and recommended for short tracks with many acceleration parts or on tracks that are tough on run time.

Core RC LiPo safe charge pouch

Core RC have released a new addition to their range of LiPo safe charge pouches. This new version is a larger size of 30 x 23cm, compared to the previously available 18 x 22cm, and are suitable for the larger sized range of batteries. The safe charge pouch should always be used to charge or store your LiPo batteries at all times.

Exclusive – Speed Passion GT2.0 PRO

Seen for the first time here in the pits at the 3rd round of the Euro Touring Series in Warsaw, Poland, was the all new Gran Turismo 2.0 PRO Blue Edition speed controller from Speed Passion. This is the latest speedo from the World Champion motor company and is their first proper attempt at a high end competition speedo for modified racing and judging by the reaction of team driver Marc Rheinard, who is running the ESC for the first time, it seems to work very well. The ESC is scheduled for a mid March release in standard Carbon black colour, with the blue version seen in these pictures due for release after that.
