The 2020 Super Cup Championship Series round 3 was held at Mills Pond RC Raceway last weekend, attracting nearly 70 entries. The 2WD Mod Buggy class saw Julien Oliveras taking the win from Paul Wynn in 2nd and AJ Marasco in 3rd, making it an all-Team-Associated top 3.

The fourth and final round of the 2019/20 MRC Longwy Winter Series was held last weekend, attracting 75 entires. While Florian Joos took the win in Touring Stock Expert, it was Yokomo’s Ronald Völker with the overall TQ in Touring Modified from Awesomatix privateer, Yannic Prümper in 2nd. After the triple A-main events the top 3 would remain unchanged with Ronald taking the win from Yannic in 2nd and Carl Friedrich Groessel, who rounded out the top 3.

The opening round of the Andalusian Electric On-road Championship was held at the Circuito del CDAS track in Sevilla last weekend. Jorge Carmona and Juan Francisco Correa ended up tie on points after the Formula class qualifying, however it was Antonio Jesus Villalon who would walk away with the win after the A-mains from Eduardo Ameijide Abella on the runner-uo spot. Gonzalo Díez Silva, Raúl De Los Santos and Dani Rubio would round out the top 5 results.

The final round of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was held in Tolls over the weekend. The Touring Superstock class saw Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen (Awesomatix) taking the overall TQ from Xray’s Casper Lund in 2nd and Soren Boy Holst (Gizmo) in 3rd. The opening A-main saw the top 3 crossing the finish line in starting order while A2 was won by Casper in front of Soren as Frederik scored a DNF. With a win in A3 Frederik then put things straight again as it allowed him to take the overall from Casper in 2nd and Soren in 3rd. With the win at round 3 Frederik made it a complete sweep in the championship with three TQs and wins and thus the overall title.

Round 1 of the Malaysian 1/10 Electric Off-road Nationals was hosted by Syahmi’s Backyard Speedway in Sungai Buluh, Malaysia over the weekend. Held in 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes it was Team Associated driver, Jade Lim with the overall TQ in 2WD Buggy and he also took wins in A1 and A2 for an early overall victory as A3 winner, Bashir (Team Associated) cemented his runner-up position. Shahrin S. (Schumacher) came in 3rd overall. Over in 4WD Buggy it was again Jade Lim with the overall TQ, however the young man was not able to convert the pole position into a win as Shahrin S. came out on top in A1 and A3 for the overall win from A2 winner Jade in 2nd overall. Bashir would end the day sitting in 3rd overall.
The 2020 season of the Urban Astro Buggy Champs kicked off this past weekend at the rooftop track of Urban RC in downtown Singapore. A scorching day greeted the drivers for round 1, with 18 racers eager to start their 2020 offroad racing season. A new flowing layout welcomed the racers, this time featuring a challenging front double-double, and a cross-over section. In qualifying, it was 2019 2WD champion, Esmail Apandi, dominiating proceedings as he claimed TQ in all four qualifying rounds. Julien Foo was a strong 2nd, with TS Bay just a point behind in 3rd. In the finals, Esmail carried his dominance with commanding wins in both legs 1 and 2 to secure an early overall win. Julien had to be content with 2nd in A1 and A2, before securing the win in A3. Yong Youyi, who qualified 6th, managed to make his way through the field to secure a great P3 finish. The next round of the Astro Buggy Champs will be held on April 5th.

The 2020 Muchmore Invitational was held at NW Hobbies in Albany, Oregon last weekend. Brandon Foote took an impressive win in the highly contested 2WD Modified Buggy class with his Yokomo from his Yokomo teammates Harley Yoshii in 2nd, Andy DiBrino in 3rd, and Tanner Day in 4th overall. Team Associated’s Waylin Rose would complete the top 5 results.
EN Hobbies of Columbus, Ohio held the 2020 Stock Showdown race last weekend and in the 2WD Stock Buggy class it was Yokomo’s JP Richards with the overall TQ and also the win in the single 5-minute A-main event, leaving behind Team Associated’s Austin Horne in 2nd and TLR’s Rashaad Marshall in 3rd. Dustin Fox ended the day on the 4 spot from Domenic Reese in 5th.
