Robitronic have announced the release of their new Turbo Fuel Gun which claims to fill your cars fuel tank in less than 2 seconds. This gun features a translucent fuel reservoir which makes visibility of the fuel level nice and easy and both the filling end and nozzle are made from a rather nice red anodised aluminum. As with all fuel guns, holes in the front aluminum nozzle shuts off the fuel flow automatically when the tank is full.

Following on from his win in the 1st round of the Southern German regionals, and his podium spot at last months Swiss GP, Robert Pietsch was once again in top form taking the win at the 2nd round of the regional championships, held last weekend in Türkheim. The Shepherd Velox driver claimed the TQ spot after 6 rounds of qualifying on his way to setting a new track record, while Andreas Hammerl, driving for Kyosho, lined up 2nd followed by Euro-B Vice champion Eric Dankel in 3rd. In the final Robert could defend his first place from the start with Hammerl right behind him until after the first round of pitstops when Andreas had to retire, gifting Mugen racer Eric Dankel the 2nd place which is how it stayed with Serpent-driver Philip Eberle claiming the final podium spot in 3rd.

Yesterday we reported on the French EFRA GP from Auxerre in which Jerome Aigoin, driving for Kyosho took the win ahead of fellow French man Renaud Savoya for Mugen with Crono racer Davide Tortorici in 3rd. Last weekend in Italy at the fast Fiorano track, close to the Ferrari test track, the second round of the Italian Nationals took place and in qualifying it was young Serpent racer Andrea Cristiani that took the TQ with Mugen driver, and round 1 winner, Alberto Picco lining up in 2nd with Lamberto Collari in 3rd for Kyosho. The race was an hour long, and so endurance was as important as speed and in the end it was Daniele Ielasi, who had won his semi final to make it into the main, that took the win by 1 lap ahead of Alberto Picco, while pole man Andrea Cristiani finished in 3rd position, 5 laps back, after some pit lane and engine problems but still managed to set the fastest race lap.

Last weekend saw the 2nd round of the Swiss Championship take place in Wallisellen, near Zurich, the same track which held the EC-B 1/8 in the 1998. Our man Mattia Pesenti was in action at the event, as he was in round 1, driving his Novarossi powered Motonica and has provided us with this report.
We started with the qualifying rounds on Saturday after dinner, I had some problems with my engine so I had to change it. I did my best round in the last round, until that I was 7th and after the last round I was in the Top 4.

French Kyosho driver Jerome Aigoin has carried through his quick pace from qualifying into the main race, to win todays top final at the French EFRA GP, held at this years European Championship track in Auxerre. Jerome only lined up in 3rd position after a finishing 3rd in the fastest semi final but he had the pace when it mattered and could take the lead which he could extended to almost 1 lap, to win ahead of fellow French racer Renaud Savoya driving a Mugen. The final podium spot went to Italian Crono racer, and current Italian National Champion, Davide Tortorici who was only 5 seconds behind Savoya while the Mugen of Daniel Vega came home 4th. Pole position sitter after the semis was current European Champion Yannick Aigoin who came home 12th and was the only non finisher, running into trouble at 25 minutes, which ended his race.

Current French 2wd National electric buggy Champion, Arnaud Collet, has rejoined Kyosho leaving behind a deal with Team Associated which saw him win last years Nationals when he drove a B4 to the title. Arnaud is present at this weekends 3rd round of the French National Championship driving his new ride, the Kyosho Ultima RB5, and we will bring you the results from this event as soon as we get them.
