Rêve D for RDX R-tune Spring series

Japanese RC Drift car manufacturer Rêve D has introduced a new R-tune spring specially tuned for RDX car kit, which uses the “SWO” material that has been proven in the R-tune series. By adopting a new “SWO” material and making it easier to induce initial subduction even at higher spring rates gives a strong kicking feeling and control performance are realised at a high level.  The spring length is 23mm, which is the shortest length in the Rêve D product.  By shortening the spring, it is possible to suppress the elongation of the suspension and apply the surface pressure to the tyre stably both front and rear.  It can be used for both the front and rear, and the line-to-line contact structure, which is popular in the R-tune spring series, continues to be used.  By swapping the top and bottom of the spring, it is possible to instantly adjust according to the road surface conditions and driving skill.  There are 3 spring types in the lineup  – soft, medium hard, hard, and Rêve D have an all-set that contains all three types in a special box.

Rêve D RDX Graphite Composite Molded Parts

RC Drift car manufacturer Reve D has released a new Graphite composite molded Bell Crank and Front Knuckle for its for RDX chassis. The bell crank and knuckle, which contains graphite in resin, promotes weight reduction and rigidity improvement at the front, which is important for RWD drift, and greatly improves steering sharpness and responsiveness. In addition, by increasing the rigidity of the material itself, the precision of the parts has been further improved, and the change in shape when a load is applied is suppressed. By reducing deflection and backlash, highly accurate steering work and suppression of hunting are possible. The shape of the bell crank and knuckle are both the same shape as the genuine parts, so it is easy to install and there is no need to change settings.

Rêve D RDX Aluminum Front Post for Magnet Mount

RC Drift specialists ReveD from Japan has new aluminium front posts for magnet mount for their popular RDX 1:10 drift chassis.  By attaching it to the body mount base used at the base of the RDX bumper and mounting it on the upper bulkhead mount, the heavy magnet can be installed in the centre of the chassis instead of at the edge of the chassis, it will also contribute for weight reduction at front section. The bottom part of the lightweight aluminium post is SE (shiny edge) processed to create a luxurious appearance.

ReveD Alu Rear Hub Carrier Set

RC Drift car manufacturer ReveD has released this Alu Rear Hub Carrier Set for RWD Drift. The popular aluminium rear hub carrier is now available with a new SE (shiny edge) specification. By providing two outer suspension pin positions, it is possible to adjust the roll center position and instantly change the setting according to the rear weight of the machine. The hub carrier body, which has been boldly hollowed out, has both rigidity and flexibility, and dramatically improves traction performance, while maintaining the highest performance.

ReveD RDX black FRP chassis and side decks

Japanese RC Drift car manufacturer ReveD  has released this Black FRP main chassis & side deck set and side deck set for it RDX 1:10 drift kit.  The main chassis and side decks, which use cool black FRP, make the RDX run more competitive by increasing the machine’s pitching rigidity and providing moderate flexibility.  In addition to the RDX standard hole positions on the main chassis, service holes that can be used with some MC-1 parts have also been drilled, making it highly scalable.  By attaching the side deck set to the composite resin main chassis, it improves the rigidity in the pitching direction while taking advantage of the advantage of the genuine chassis that is easy to manoeuvre, and the feeling of kicking out when the throttle is turned on is more improved.  The battery is only compatible with short Li-Po horizontal placement.

ReveD Fluorescent Yellow DP-5 wheel

RC Drift specialists ReveD are to offer their popular DP5 competition wheel in fluorescent yellow.  Maintaining the maximum performance of this lightweight, 11g approx. each, and high traction realised by optimising the material, design, and dimensions of each  part, the new fluorescent color also gives it a sporty feel. There are two types of offsets, 6mm and 8mm, and the adoption of a large inner diameter and thin rim that avoids interference with the suspension.  The new colour option will start shipping at the end of April.

ReveD RDX Rear Body Mount Set & Iron Spool Cups

Japanese RC Drift specialists ReveD has announced the release of two new optional parts for its RDX chassis.  The first item is a new rear body mount set for fixing RDX magnets.  The set is comprised of a carbon rear body mount plate and aluminium rear body mount post for MC-1 that can be attached to RDX, together with the mounting screws.  By attaching it to the RDX rear shock tower, it is possible to fix the body using a commercially available magnet.  There are 4 holes in the aluminium post, 3 holes in the carbon plate, and 8 holes on each side for fixing the magnet, so you can adjust the position according to your body shells.  The RDX magnet fixing rear body mount set offer greater value than purchasing parts individually.

ReveD RDX Optional parts

RC Drift manufacturer ReveD has released a number of new optional parts for its RDX chassis.  The first of these is the EZ Type Wheel Hub Series that can be attached to the rear axle. Compared to the plastic rear hub that comes standard with the kit, the use of aluminium improves the accuracy, and by combining it with the Φ6.0mm axle, it effectively suppresses core shake and allows for smooth rotation. In addition, by holding down the pin that fixes the hub with an O-ring, it stabilises the rotation and prevents the pin from coming off when the wheel is attached or detached. It also reduces stresses when changing wheels. Two types are available: 5.0mm and 7.0mm.
