Team Magic G4II Testing video

We brought you the very first pictures of the prototype of the new G4II from Team Magic back at the toy fair in February and since then the car has evolved to something that looks like its close to being released. Dario Balestri, current European Champion, and Team Magic’s development driver, was in touch to let us know about the short video above that shows him testing at the Gubbio track in Italy, host of this summer’s European Championships. As you can see from the footage, the car handles really well and can easily cope with all that power that is coming his Novarossi engine.

R/C Racers wanted for reality show

We were contacted by the people behind R/C Wars, an ‘extreme R/C Competition Series’ for the Cartoon Network. If you consider yourself a bit of a legend at the controls of a RC car, and are aged between 12 and 18, then you could find yourself on the show. They are currently casting for teenagers to compete against each other for a new reality competition series and are holding an open casting call in Southern California this Saturday at Hot Rod Hobbies in Santa Clarita. Kyosho Fall Classic – Video

We borught you a number of reports from the recent Kyosho Fall Classic held at Revelatioin Raceway in Ontario, CA, and now thanks to Empire RC we have a video from the event. This video shows the Expert A-Main final and in particular the battle between Ryan Cavalieri and Adam Drake.

Nick Daman from RC Racing TV was in contact to tell us about the short light humoured promo video they have put together to highlight the return of the series to Motors TV on November 5th. This is the third series of the program which has done a great deal to highlight the sport of r/c racing among 1:1 scale motorsport fans. Once again the show is supported by HPI.

RC Racing – HPI Baja 12 hour Enduro

The guys from RC Racing have been in touch to tell us that they have put together a special 1 hour show covering the recent HPI Baja 12 hour Enduro held near Barcelona which will be aired on Motors TV tomorrow night (Saturday) at 19:00 GMT. The special will be repeated a number of times over the next week details of which can be found on the Motors TV website. The new series of RC Racing itself starts on the First Wednesday of November and once again we’re back in Las Vegas for exclusive IIC action from the centre of the Vegas Strip!

Team Magic B8 Buggy testing video

We were informed last weekend about this video of the all new Team Magic B8 buggy, which was seen testing at a track in Spain, but when we linked to it the video had disappeared. Well as you can see its now back and shows the Taiwanese company’s latest buggy project being put through its paces. According to Team Magic the B8 is a completely new concept and is not a replacement for the M8, which will continue to be produced. Expect the buggy to be released around early September.

Team Associated have been in contact to share some great videos from last weekend’s Reedy Race in California. The first 3 videos are from each of the triple A-mains in Modified (A-main 1 above), while the last 4 show the action from round 8 of the Invitational class with the last showing Heat 4 which sees Hirosaka, Hara, Rheinard and Hohwart battling it out for the win.
