SMJ has released a stiffener to help reduce the chance of rear body tucks during race accidents that is intended for use on saloon car bodies from Xtreme Aerodynamics. Pre-cut to fit the Twister and Twister Speciale bodies, it comes with double-sided tape so it can be easily attached to the body.
Hong Kong chassis manufacturer Xpress has released details of its latest 1:10 competition Touring Car, the Execute XQ11. Building on the success of the previous XQ10 platform, it combines a number of new design features. The motor mount has been redesigned to accept up to 4 locations of bearings to tension your belt, with one of those being height adjustable. The spur mounting is now screw-less, secured by a single large plate for a more evenly mounted spur. Redesigned body stops help lift the body when cornering to prevent scraping on the track and preventing inconsistent performance. It gets easy to adjust caster angle by adding or removing shims to the front of the mount, without having to use special tools to measure caster. Through axle design in the uprights gives better support and increasing consistency and removing unwanted slop. Xpress has brought back the quick change steering ackermann setting through adjusting with inserts. Reinforced upper arms increase suspension stiffness and webbing can be cut for suspension flex tuning. Top deck flex can be adjusted through the plethora of holes in the top deck by adding/removing inserts and/or screws in the provided holes.

US competition bodyshell manufacturer SuperRad has released their first truck oval body, the SR-20 SuperTRK. Available in Lite .020” polycarbonate the 1:12 body includes spoiler, decal sheet, and window masks. Weighing in at just 52g painted, the truck body is TOUR approved.

Releasing their first bodyshell at the start of this year, newcomers PIP-Aero has released their new Wing & Stiffener Kit, the TurboKit2 which features a new wing. The Wing increases downforce and has more surface on the gurney because of its wavy profile and after several positive tests the German company have decided to sell it. The set is perfect to use with the short straight manifold. Exotek Racing has added this wheelie bar set for the 1:16 Losi MINI drag car to its range. The extra long adjustable USA made carbon fibre wheelie bar extends between 7-9″ (axle to axle). The longer bar gives you more stability, for straighter and faster passes without needing to let off the throttle as often compared to the stock short bar. The flat bar design also adds limited upwards flexing which acts like a shock for softer landings on the wheelie wheels. You are able to finely adjust the wheel height via the 2.5mm heavy duty turnbuckle.
