Rêve D HT Rear Lower arm

Drifting brand Rêve D has introduced their new HT rear lower arm for improved rear traction.  The HT rear lower arm, which is machined from lightweight and highly rigid DURACON (POM) material, achieves a highly precise finish and dramatically smooth suspension movement.  There are two lengths, 42mm and 45mm.  In addition to the caster angle of 0 degrees, the 42mm has a caster angle of 2.6 degrees with an inclination on the outer pin side.  As a unique feature, the 42mm and 45mm arms with a caster angle of 0 degrees adopt a reversible structure, and two types of damper mounting heights can be selected by exchanging the left and right.  The 42mm caster 2.6 degrees type can increase traction without hindering the sinking of the suspension by tilting the knuckle forward without adding a skid angle.  Rêve D recommend using it in combination with the recently announced long type suspension mounts.

SMJ Kabuto Spec 3 silencer

Kabuto, the engine brand from Japan’s SMJ, has released two new tuned silencer sets for 1:8 and 1:10 Onroad competition.   For 1:8, the new silencer set is perfectly matched for the Kabuto 7 port engine which shows responsive characteristics to throttle input. The overall shape of the silencer has been thickened to increase power in the mid to high speed range.  In addition, the combination of the straight type MR03 manifold dramatically improves pickup at higher RPMs and allows the driver to experience overwhelming power from low speeds to the top end of the range.  For 1:10 the Kabuto silencer is known for its top-end power.  Based on the O.S. Speed T1070C, the high performance and reliability of the T1070C has been retained, while the MT03 manifold, which has a new shape and greatly improves exhaust efficiency, has been combined with the T1070C to bring out a higher level of power across the entire throttle range.  You will be able to feel the outstanding throttle feeling not only on high-speed circuits with long straights, but also on technical circuits.

Factory Team Diff Decoder

Factory Team has released a Diff Decoder which is says is an indispensable tool for the hardcore racer.  The Diff Decoder displays a consistent, measured value for differential hardness rather than relying on an estimation or feeling. This measurement can be used to build differentials to a specific hardness, fine tune to improve vehicle performance, understand the differences between oil brands and temperature, or to replicate an existing differential.  The Diff Decoder’s machined aluminium body is compact and lightweight with a 5-digit LED display suitable for measurement of a wide variety of differentials. Includes three adapters: one 1:10 7mm hex to measure at the wheel, and 1:10 and 1:8 pin adapters to measure at the diff outdrive.  A 5V power source is required to operate.

Rêve D Long Type Alum Suspension Mounts

Japanese RC Drift car manufacturer Rêve D is releasing a lightweight and highly rigid aluminium suspension mount series of its already available long type #8 and #9, which are ideal for the new HT rear lower arm (42mm).  The lineup includes #8 for 644-676mm and #9 for 680-712mm, plus type TK for each type, totalling 4 types.  The  lightweight yet highly rigid suspension mount is less likely to cause alignment changes even when a load is applied while driving, and the suspension movement is more precise and stable traction is achieved.  The type TK, which allows the rear upper arm to be attached to the suspension mount, creates a direct feeling in the movement of the rear suspension and improves the control performance more effectively.
