T-Works Precision ball bearing sets

T-Works have introduced new Precision ball bearing sets for a range of 1/8th off-road kits. Utilising rubber and metal-shielded high-quality ball races the sets will reduce the natural drivetrain drag due to the metal inner shielding while the outer orange rubber seal offers exceptional protection against dust, dirt and moisture. The sets are available for the Team Associated RC8B3.1, Mugen MBX8/MBX8T and MBX8 Eco, the Kyosho MP10/MP10T/MP9 TKI4/TKI3 as well as the MP9E. The range is rounded out by a set dedicated to the SWorkz S35-3.

Havranek & Hoch win at HIT Rd4

Round 4 of the popular HIT series was held in the Czech Republic recently. A technically track of medium grip challenged the drivers and in the end it was Oliver Havranek with the win in the Touring Modified class from Martin Kratochvil in 2nd and Radko Cernohous in 3rd, making it an all-Xray top 3. Over in the Formula class Lukas Hoch walked away with the silverware from Filip Radjus in 2nd and Svetlin Douhlevski in 3rd.

Bezerk T4 slim pack battery hooks

Bezerk have introduced their new slim pack battery hooks system for the Xray T4 range of electric touring cars. The battery retention system was designed for the new generation of slim battery packs, like the Sunpadow slim pack, that help to bring all the weight closer to the centre of the car, especially compliments the newer generation of lighter ESCs and motors and still retain weight balance. The battery posts are located as close to the side of the battery as possible to reduce the stress on the upper retaining tab. The 5mm thick carbon fibre battery hooks are beefy enough to take a beating and high enough to keep the battery in its place. The mounting holes are slotted to allow a small amount of left/right adjustment. The 3mm carbon fibre upper tabs look minimal in size but due to their placement are more than up to the task. The kit is usable with the 2020 down to 2017 variants of the T4 and it includes two battery hooks, two battery tabs and two black alloy hex standoffs. Other options include shorter standoffs for very low batteries and are also available in silver.

Team Associated Rival MT10 1/10th monster truck

Coming soon from Team Associated is their new Rival MT10 1/10th scale 4WD monster truck. The powerful, purposeful, and built-to-last ready-to-run vehicle is capable of running on 3s LiPo battery and its strength lies at the very core with its high-performance 3300kv Reedy brushless motor, fully sealed transmission, robust shaft drive, and centre differential. The truck features long-travel independent suspension that is managed by four fluid-filled, adjustable coil-over shocks, giving the truck the ability to roll over just about anything in its path. Giant aggressive monster truck tyres provide maximum traction, letting the vehicle claw through the toughest terrain with ease. The 4WD drivetrain includes three sealed gear differentials that transfer the power through durable, slider-type drive shafts to both ends of the truck. The truck is available as RTR or RTR Combo package, the latter also including a Reedy #27201 Compact Balance Charger and #751 WolfPack LiPo battery.

Maclan Racing MMax 8 1/8th 200A competition ESC

Maclan Racing have introduced their new MMax 8 brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale applications. Developed from the ground up in cooperation with IFMAR World Champion, Jared Tebo, the ESC is of a heavy duty design, ensuring its hardware components meet the demands of high end competition racing while the software side of things enables the racer to take fully control of a multitude of parameters, ensuring the controller can be adjusted to all driving styles and track conditions. The MMax 8 utilises an all-aluminium case that ensures maximum heat dissipation and extreme durability. The 40mm HV turbo ESC fan provides that extra insurance to cool down the ESC in extreme ambient conditions. The super-switch-mode BEC is designed to handle true HV for all types of servos from 6V to 8.4V while the 32-bit micro processor allows for data processing at blistering speeds for improved throttle and brake control.

Tamiya SW-01 metal cross spiders

Coming from Tamiya and made for their SW-01 mini-size truck is a metal cross spider set. Developed to replace the kit’s plastic parts, the machined metal driveshaft couplers offer increased stability when running stronger motors or having a demanding driving style. The parts are a drop fit and they include mounting hardware.

7075.it A800MMX LCG alloy chassis & top decks

Coming from 7075.it and made for the Awesomatix A800MMX mid motor touring car are a new LCG aluminium main chassis and split aluminium top decks. Starting with the chassis, the main plate is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes black anodised for wear and looks while machined silver edge details further enhance the visual appearance. Strategically machined holes make for optimised flex characteristics and incorporated into the design are also milled out sections to add brass weights that help to fine-tune the weight balance if needed. The chassis is available separately or including two front brass weights.

Absima Revenge CTM V3 1/8th scale brushless motor

Absima from Germany have announced the release of their new Revenge CTM V3 1/8th scale electric brushless motor. The 4-pole motor is of a new design for an overall lower weight and increased performance with a CNC-machined heatsink design can making for improved cooling efficiency and less fading during a run. Other features include a high-torque stator, a high-strength balanced rotor, stainless steel ball bearings, silver-plated heavy-duty solder tabs as well as adjustable timing. The 4269-size motor weighs in at about 320g comes in five different winding variants including 1750kV, 1900kV, 2100kV, 2300kV and 2500kV and it is available from now on.
