Marka Racing aluminium pinion holder

Marka Racing have introduced their new aluminium pinion holder. Designed by Ivo Cavuoto the carrier allows to store up to 14 pinion gears with the design not only making for compact dimensions, the gears are also well protected. The size is ideal for modified and stock class gears and the black anodised finish with silver edge details matches with both Marka Racing and other tool ranges. The pinion holder comes without pinion gears.

Ronald Völker wins at TOS West Division Rd2

The second round of the West Division 2019/20 Tonisport Onroad Series was hosted by the Racing Arena Limburg in Sittard, The Netherlands this past weekend. The race was held in a multitude of classes and in the premier Touring Modified category it was Yokomo’s Ronald Völker with the overall win from now free agent, Yannic Prümper on the runner-up spot. Awesomatix’s Thimo Weissbauer came in 3rd to round out the podium in front of Lucas Urbain, Christopher Krapp and Loic Jasmin. Sebastian Meibörg, Liam van de Wouwer and Martin Machura completed the A-main results.

T-Works lightweight pit mat

T-Works have introduced their new lightweight pit mat. Measuring 120x60cm the mat weighs in at only 260g, ensuring easy transportation while offering a nice place to build, maintain and setup your vehicle. The black colour anti-slip mat sports white T-Works prints and it is available from now on.

Samix Enduro brass rear bumper mount

Coming from Samix and made for the popular Element RC Enduro trail trucks is a brass rear bumper mount. Machined from high-quality material and coming with a black coating for looks and surface protection, the bumper mount adds 117g of weight to the rear end of the chassis while increasing overall chassis strength and rigidity. Gold colour machined edge details and a laser-etched Samix logo makes the part stand out.

RSD X20 standard carbon top deck & bulkhead braces

Reflex Racing have introduced more option parts for the Serpent X20 mid motor touring car. First up is a 2.0mm upper deck cut from standard carbon fibre. The top deck offers different flex characteristics than RSD’s Quasi carbon fibre deck, as it flexes similar to the 1.5mm Quasi deck side to side, but is stiffer fore and aft, giving the car a little more forward bite. The top deck is designed to increases response, gear selection range and belt clearance while being more durable than stock version and it comes with a matte surface finish to differentiate.

Aaron Stringer wins at 2020 Vietnam Challenge

The 2020 Vietnam Challenge was hosted by the Long An track in Can Giuoc, Vietnam this past weekend. The event attracted over 120 entries including some international top stars such as Atsushi Hara. The 1/8th Nitro Buggy class was top qualified by HB Racing’s Atsushi Hara from Serpent’s Aaron Stringer and the latter would take the overall win in the 20-minute A-main event that was cut short due to the threat of heavy rain. HB Racing pilot Zac Ryan came in 2nd, a lap down while Takashiro Wataru (SWorkz) completed the top 3 result, some 0.7 seconds behind Zac.

Ielasi Tuned EFRA 2108 off-road pipe

Ielasi Tuned have introduced their new EFRA 2108 exhaust set for 1/8th off-road engines. The pipe was thoroughly tested by Ielasi Tuned’s Joao Figueiredo over several months and it is the ideal addition to Ielasi Tuned’s range of off-road engines, especially the Hummer Evo, as well as other Novarossi-based power plants. The exhaust system includes the EFRA 2108 exhaust and a universal manifold and it is already available.

Louth RCCC Schumacher Winter Series Rd4 – Report

The fourth round of the 2019/20 Schumacher Winter Series presented by the Louth Radio Control Car Club took place over the past weekend. In Touring 13.5T Mitch Fiddling would set the initial pace in the early rounds before a fatal incident would end his day. Chris Lovely would pick up the mantle and take the further three rounds of qualifying with his Xray T4’20. Lisa Keen would find the pace with her Serpent, Alex Brocklebank would fit his Schumacher Mi7 into 3rd. Joseph Cocking debuting his new Yokomo BD10 would sit in 4th, ahead of Callum Chapman with his mid motor converted Xray, Jay Kay would show consistency with his Yokomo, Andrew Twigger would debut well with his Xray making the A-final.
