Ronald Völker has secured the overall TQ position at this year’s EWS International, after setting the fastest times in all three rounds of qualifying held today. Featuring the strongest line up in the event’s eight year history, the Yokomo pilot said he was “surprised” to have topped all three rounds, noting how close the top five were each time out. Fellow German, Marc Rheinard, sits second after Saturday’s racing, the Infinity pilot taking a second and two third places today. Chasing his first win at the event, the Infinity pilot is also using a prototype car as the company looks to prepare it’s next generation of IF14 chassis. Defending race winner, Yannic Prümper sits third overall, with Lucas Urbain and Christopher Krapp rounding out the top five.
