This weekend saw the second round of the Danish 1/8th off road Nationals take place at the tight and technical SOS track, south of Copenhagen. The weather forecast showed a lot of rain, but qualification was dry and due to a new and tight time schedule, that saw a 30 minutes final instead of the normal 45 minute one, it could have been worse. The track has some high-speed jumps and nice sweepers but also has a more technical part inspired by other international tracks like the NEO 2006 layout. The opening round of the Danish 1/8th off road Nationals took place this weekend with nice sunny weather in Hillerød on the challenging NXC track north of Copenhagen. Peter Harder with his Novarossi powered Xray 808 took a strong victory leading from early on to win by 3 laps from Losi driver Silas Høgholt Pedersen, with HongNor driver Tim Culmsee completing the top 3.
