JConcepts Ellipse buggy & truggy tyres

JConcepts have announced their Ellipse 1/8th buggy and truggy tyres are now also available in Blue, Green and Aqua compounds. The Ellipse, named after the center bar built into the tread, is a compliment to successful tyres such as the Dirt Webs and Bar Codes. The “Web” style tyre was built to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The centre section of the tyre is a home run utilising a diamond “home plate” footprint to provide massive forward bite and increased longevity. The web of extensions are unique and have a directional touch giving the racer the ultimate tune-ability. The buggy tyre fits all standard 1/8th buggy rims while the truggy variant was developed for 1/8th 4.0” truck rims.

Pro-Line Resistor 1/10th buggy tyre – Teaser

Pro-Line have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming all-new Resistor 1/10th buggy tyre. Meant to offer the next level of race performance, the tyre will feature a futuristic directional tread design with each bar positioned and angled for maximum performance. This results in improved side bite compared to the popular positron tyre. Full details will become available in time of the release.

Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited RTR trail buggy

Horizon Hobby have announced the soon release of the new Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited ready-to-run trail buggy. It builds on the Capra 1.9 Unlimited Builders Kit and is a “new from the ground up” design. Its Currie F9 portal axles provide extra ground clearance at the diff pumpkin for the best crawling performance. With the included Spektrum STX3 3-channel transmitter and DIG transmission, drivers can also switch on the fly between 4WD and FWD — locking the rear axle whenever in need of the tighter turning radius of front drive power. The Capra features a realistic tube chassis design and metal gears everywhere, from the centre transmission to the lockers and portal axles. It rides on real-world inspired Nitto Trail Grappler 1.9 tyres mounted to licensed Raceline 3-piece moulded beadlock wheels. The truck comes factory assembled and including a 540-size 35T brushed motor and Dynamite AE-5L brushed ESC.

Lunsford Ultima 4-40 titanium turnbuckles

Lunsford Racing have introduced their new Retro 4-40 turnbuckle set for the Kyosho Ultima re-release buggy. Machined in the USA from high-quality USA-made Grade 5 titanium the retro turnbuckles will give the re-release Ultima the ultimate vintage feeling while offering highest quality and cool looks. Yokomo Racing Performer YZ-2 titanium screw kit

Coming from Yokomo’s Racing Performer brand is a new titanium screw set for the YZ-2DTM3 and CAL3 2WD buggy kit. Included are precision-machined cap head and countersunk screws that are made of highest quality titanium for a precise fit, exceptional durability and very high corrosion resistance. Yeah Racing M08 aluminium chassis brace mount

Yeah Racing have introduced their new chassis brace mount for the Tamiya M08 M-chassis kit. Machined from aluminium the tubes will reinforce the chassis assembly, allowing to extract more performance from the tyres and car. The braces come as pair and are available in blue or black anodising.

Losi Mini-T 2.0 aluminium optionals

Coming soon for the recently announced Losi Mini-T 2.0 is a range of aluminium option parts to increase the performance, durability and appearance of Losi’s latest mini-size ride. The range includes a front pivot block, a bellcrank and drag link set, 0 degree caster blocks, a rear hub set, a rear pivot block set, a front brace set, servo mounts, front camber blocks, rear hex-style adapters, threaded body front and rear shock absorbers as well as front and rear spring sets. Also available, from Horizon Hobby’s Dynamite brand, is a 6000kV motor and ESC 2-in-1 combo that sees the speed controller integrated into the motor case. All parts will become available in time of the Mini-T 2.0 release.
