Samix Enduro gold colour brass differential cover

Samix have announced the release of another optional part for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks in the form of a gold colour brass differential cover. The part comes machined from high-quality material and while adding over 30g of weight to one of the lowest areas of the truck, improving traction and climbing performance, the polished finish of the cover also adds some visual impact. The part come laser-etched with Samix logos, fake bolts and it is usable on the front and rear solid axles.

Yeah Racing touring car wheel well marker

Coming from Yeah Racing is their new universal wheel well marker for 1/10th touring car and M-chassis body shells. The simple yet effective tool helps marking wheel wells for easy cutting, and beside highlighting the actual wheel wells, modellers can also mark the lower body cut line at 8mm, 9mm and 10mm height, ensuring consistency when prepping new body shells for carpet or asphalt racing. A machined centre section ensures good view of the wheel axle and besides offering a 65mm wheel well marking the tool also sports an inner 56mm section for M-chassis body shells. The tool is available in black, blue or red colour and it will hit stores very soon.

Serpent SRX8e Pro 1/8th E-Buggy kit – Coming soon

Serpent have released first information on their forthcoming new SRX8e Pro 1/8th scale electric buggy kit. Based on the SRX8 Pro nitro buggy, the electric-powered variant will make use of its nitro sibling’s large volume differentials for consistency, an updated steering system for a more progressive steering feeling, as well as updated inclined C-hubs and steering spindles. The kit is rounded out by a new +15mm wing mount for improved overall downforce. The SRX8e Pro is set for a release in early December.

Michael Gers wins at Off-road Turkey Race

The 1/10th Off-road Turkey Race was held at the Ohio RC Factory in Jeffersonville, Ohio last Saturday, attracting nearly 80 entries. In the popular 13.5T Wheeler class it was Chad Wipperman with the overall TQ, however the single 7-minute A-main was won by 3rd place qualifier, Michael Gers as P2 qualifier, Nathan McClanahan conserved his qualifying performance by finishing on the runner-up spot.

Evo Race Factory ARS3 FWD touring car body shell

Evo Race Factory have introduced their all-new ARS3 190mm touring car body shell for the ever growing FWD on-road class. Sporting a high waist, low roof design the body is a bit of a different approach compared to most FWD lids out there with more of a sedan-style silhouette rather than being a hatchback. The body will come moulded from clear high-quality polycarbonate and it hits stores very soon.

SWorkz sign Camden Lime

SWorkz have announced the signing of young US top talent, Camden Lime to their factory team. Camden inked a multi-year deal for 2020 and beyond, to campaign SWorkz’s 1/8th and 1/10th scale vehicles at all major events. Camden says:

Xray Racing Series Germany Rd3 – Report

Round 3 of the Xray Racing Series Germany was hosted by the RC-Schwalmracern club recently. The event kicked off on Saturday morning with practice with Sunday being the main race day and classes run included 1/10th Touring Stock, Touring FWD and 1/12th GT. In the premier class of Touring Stock it was Jannick Namyslo with the overall TQ in front of Tobias Schuch and Marc Stubben. When the dust had settled after the finals it was still Jannick on top with Marc Stubbed and Jens Haller coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively for an all-Xray top 3 result.

Abdulrahman Aljuhail wins at RCCCK Points Race

The Radio Control Car Club of Kuwait RCCCK held their opening Points Race last weekend, attracting over 40 entries for the Nitro Buggy and Truggy classes. In Nitro Buggy it was Agama racer Abdulrahman Aljuhail with the win in the 45-minute A-main event, a lap in front of SWorkz’s Ali Sherazy on the runner-up spot. Agama’s Mohammad Alhajri came in 3rd to complete the podium result in front of Mohammad Altarmoum in 4th and Nasser Altermoum in 5th overall.
