Blitz EK9 190mm FWD touring car body shell

Coming from Blitz is their all-new EK9 190mmm touring car body shell for frontwheel-driven electric touring cars. Designed to not only is of a realistic look, the body also offers exceptional handling thanks to its two wings that provide both stability and downforce with the upper wing being adjustable in its size, allowing to fine-tune the overall downforce available. The body shell comes in 0.7mm standard or 0.5mm lightweight thickness and it includes 2-step window masks and a decal sheet for light and grille details.

Avid X12 titanium ballstud kingpins

Coming from Avid and made for the Xray X12 series of 1/12th scale pan cars are new titanium ballstud kingpins. The parts, the brainchild of Jason Cheng, are made out of titanium and allow for new style front end setup on the Xray 12th scale. This conversion comes with two 0.5mm and 1.0mm roll centre shims and two e-clips but racer will need to tap their car’s steering block to handle the M4 thread and purchase two additional Xray 4.2mm ball cups (372662). The shim set is also available separately.

WRC GTX aluminium clutch support disc

WRC Racing have introduced their new aluminium clutch support disc for the GTX 1/8th on-road kit. Machined from tough Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium the part is of a lightweight design for reduced rotational masses while the nickel coated surface ensures greater durability and high performance over a longer time.

Muchmore multi shock maintenance clamp

Muchmore have introduced their new multifunctional shock maintenance tool. The pliers grip different diameter 1/8th and 1/10th scale shock shafts and shock bodies for easier ball cup attachment and removal as well as easier upper and lower cap assembly. Also incorporated into the design is a pin that allows for easier pivot ball insertion and removal while machined 4mm and 5mm holes hold euro-style connectors during soldering. The tool is made of high-quality aluminium and it comes black anodised for wear and looks.

Yeah Racing 4-Tec 2.0 aluminium optionals

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 are several new aluminium optionals. First up is an aluminium motor mount that is a direct upgrade for the standard plastic item. The mount offers improved rigidity and better heat dissipation for longer gear and motor life. The part is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes blue anodised and with laser-etched markings.

Simon Horak doubles at MR Cup finale

The 6th and final round of the Czech MR Cup was held recently and it was Simon Horak who would score double wins in Touring Stock and Formula. Starting from pole position in Touring Stock Simon would sweep all three A-mains for the win from Radko Cernohous in 2nd and Lukas Hoch in 3rd. Over in Formula it was again Simon with the overall TQ and the wins in all three A-mains, however he got a run for his money from Lukas Hoch and Svetlin Douhlevski who would ultimately finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Michele Manzo joins Awesomatix

Awesomatix have announced the signing of Swiss Touring Modified expert, Michele Manzo to their Factory Team. The former Swiss national champion will attend at all major races in Switzerland and also some Italy based events. Other appearances will include the Euro Touring Series and the EFRA European Championship. Michele will also offers track-side setup support.

Team Powers Radon Pro V4 1S speed controller

Team Powers have announced the soon release of their Radon Pro V4 1S speed controller for 1/12th scale applications. Compared to the previous version the speedo features more powerful FETs for a lower internal resistance and thus higher power and lower operation temperatures. The all-aluminium case received a new low-profile design that scrubs 2mm of height for easier placement in the car while the V4 controller is also about ten percent lighter. Other features include a CH3/CH4 auxiliary function to adjust features such as throttle rate, RPM lock, turbo functions and more using a 3/4-channel transmitter. Last but not least does an optimised brake software offer a more linear feeling, ensuring better car control.
