Mon-Tech Racing 2017 style formula front wing

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have introduced their new 2017 style formula front wing. Of an adjustable design the wing can be run with three, two or a single wing element, meaning it can adapt the car’s aerodynamics to a wide range of track conditions from low to high-bite. All needed flaps are included with the wing that is available in black or white colour and that fits most of today’s formula cars.

Xray Racing Series Czech Rd2 – Report

Round 2 of the Xray Racing Series Czech was recently held in Čelákovice with a total of 35 entries. The weather forecast promised a rainy weekend which already kept some drivers from appearing and those who were brave enough to make their way to the track were greeted by mixed weather. After a rain shower in the morning the track crew did its best to dry and track and shortened qualifiers would be held. In Touring Open the trio of Jirka Vyšín, Matěj Šulc and Michal Blahovský was in a league of their own, however Vita Hola was hot on their heels, looking for his chance in the finals.

Timezone GP/Sven Boehringer Family Reunion – Report

The 9th Annual Timezone Grand Prix was held in Battleground, Washington at the world famous, “The Backyard” track. The event is now known as the Sven Boehringer Family Reunion Race named after Sven Boehringer, who touched the lives of countless racers and a dear friend to many, passed away last year. The event was held in his memory and is now perhaps the greatest race on earth with friends and family arriving from all over the world to attend this great race. Behind the organization of Ryan Newbury and the track/property owner, the St Cyr family, the event was a huge success selling out in just eight minutes after open registration. It was only four years ago when the entry count was just 75 and now it has grown to maximum capacity capped limit of 200. Just by word of mouth, it has become The Race to attend because of the unique, challenging track and amazingly relaxed atmosphere. There’s no race like it and from the words of Rick St Cyr, “The Woodstock of RC Racing”. It reminds us of what racing is supposed to be … friends, family, and most importantly fun.

Team EAM Hudy setup station acrylic holders

Team EAM have introduced acrylic holders for the Hudy setup stations for both touring car and 2WD on-road. The magnets in the base will keep the setup stands from falling over and keep them neat and organised on the pit table and they also sport a slot in the back for the toe plate. Dedicated milled-out pockets also hold the wheel nuts for both TCs and pan cars.

Italian UISP Electric On-road Champs – Announcement

ASD Rivoli Racing and Treerremodellismo have announced the 2017 edition of the Italian UISP Electric On-road Championship for the 26th and 27th of August. The event is open to all drivers and will see Formula, Pan Car 1/10 Modified, Le Mans and, for the first time in Italy, GT12 classes. The circuit of Rivoli Veronese, located on the hills surrounding Verona, will play host to the event that is expected to draw sign-ins from several drivers across the country. Capricorn 1/10th & 1/12th pan car alloy rear axle

Capricorn have introduced a new aluminium rear axle for their Formula, 1/10th 200mm and forthcoming 1/12th scale pan cars. The axle shaft is machined from aluminium, additionally hardened and it sports a golden anodised surface while the diff plate shows excessive machining and a red surface treatment.

Reds Racing Gen2 1/8th brushless motors

Italian company Reds Racing have introduced their new Gen2 1/8th electric brushless motors. Developed with the help of factory drivers such as Elliott Boots the power plants feature a new stator for increased heat dissipation, a redesigned rotor makes for improved throttle control and an all-new heatsink can increases heat dissipation. The features list is rounded out by dual sensor ports, pre-shaped heavy duty solder tabs and high-RPM ball bearings. The motor will become available in a range of winding options including 1900kv and 2100kv variants.
