RC Carbon Cavalieri D819/817 5mm carbon spacer

RC Carbon Cavalieri from Germany have introduced a new 5mm carbon fibre rear shock tower spacer for the HB Racing D819 and D817 kits. The spacer will act in three ways; it moves the rear wing 5mm backwards for improved downforce, to shifts the upper mounting position of the rear shock absorbers back for optimised dampening, and to also repositions the rear arms for an updated geometry. All three results in improved stability over rough sections of the track, during acceleration and over jumps. The spacer is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and it comes including suitable mounting hardware.

Daan Haling takes 2019 BeNeLux 1/8 IC title

This year’s BeNeLux race took place in Genk, Belgium under very nice weather conditions. In the popular 1/8th IC class Daan Haling took the pole with only 0.1 seconds difference after 4 minutes to Yves Zoma in 2nd position. Renaud Velkeneers took the 3rd spot on the starting grid. In the final, Yves Zoma (Mugen) had some bad luck at the start which cost him about seven seconds, allowing Daan Haling (Capricorn) some room to open a gap on the field. 30 minutes and many pit stops later, Yves had only reduced the gap by one second so Daan would finish in 1st position with a 6-seconds lead on Yves. JConcepts 1982 GMC K10 1/16th E-Revo body

Coming from JConcepts is the 1982 GMC K10 truck body shell for the Traxxas 1/16th E-Revo. For the early 80’s model year of the popular truck, the iconic square body emerged, a chiseled front-end, gently swept back from the center. Fenders were redesigned as well as the hood and the classic vent windows. A new sloped hood replaced the previous generation hood that had less rake, and the exterior changes include optional headlights and an updated tailgate. Side-markers were now horizontal rather than vertical which is another tell-tale look of the later generation styling. The wheel wells have been scaled to the original size vehicle, for the most clearance or maximum articulation with large tires, it might be necessary to trim further into the fender flares for the tire size used. The square body generation spanned an incredible 14 years and with small changes to grille, headlights, and trim packages throughout the years, JConcepts has added a bonus to the included decal sheet. Five different grille options are included on the sheet giving the user the option of their favorite square body grille and trim package. Quadruple light and double light bezel setups are included which contain bar and tube grille combinations. In addition, a plethora of badges are offered on the sheet featuring Sierra Grande, Custom Deluxe, Cheyenne, Scottsdale and Silverado combinations.
