SMI Motorsport has launched a new .21 off-road engine under its well-known Orcan product line. The new BT5 engine has five ports and comes with a combustion chamber for turbo plugs. Optimized combustion and reduced fuel consumption, as well as an easy handling and a solid idle, are the best characteristics of the Orcan BT5 engine. Exclusively produced by Novarossi for Orcan/SMI, the motor, including carburetor and turbo plug, is already available and comes supplied with Orcan maintenance oil (30ml) in a handy Orcan multifunction bag.

Shown to us in Houston earlier this month, Italian company Gi-Mar have released their new entry level buggy engine, the .21 Raptor. While this is the entry level for Gi-Mar it is not a budget engine, featuring a hard coated and lightened crankshaft as well as additional dremel work to the internals of the case, this is a great performer at a reasonable price.

JConcepts have released their Punisher body for the Serpent Cobra 811. The slight cab-forward treatment is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional downforce to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/8th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape.

Having shown the first image of the new competition CRF 5-port engine only yesterday, Team Orion have released the full features and spec list of this latest addition to their line of CRF competition engines. The motor features a CRF crankshaft with angled gas channel and external slots as well as a high-performance ABC liner and two needle carburetor with aluminium body for improved throttle response characteristics and increased fuel economy. Team Orion have also released details of another new engine, the Alpha Discovery 3.5cc 5-port Low Budget competition engine. With all the great features of a competition engine combined with a low budget price, this turbo plugged motor offers good power and mileage and features a CNC machined lightweight piston and bi-steel competition ball bearings.

Tresrey have released this high-quality bearing set for the Durango DEX410 and 410R. The full set consists of 18 bearings that for the most case uses a teflon seal which helps the durability of the bearing itself by making it dustproof while at the same time allowing for a super free rotation. For the outer hub carrier bearings, rubber is used for the seal for extra durability.
