The BAJR is a fresh design, starting from the front of the vehicle, the super narrow and tucked front quarter panel treatment creates one of the slickest Illuzionized looks around. The round Baja-esque profile of the cab area gives that familiar desert appearance. As the design develops toward the rear, the pronounced roof scoop, and proceeding cut-out and escape area makes this body unmistakably JConcepts. Alienpower have announced the release of their new Raptor 8BB RTR brushless buggy. This 1/8th scale chassis features a newly designed C-hub steering system that has the king pin axis extend to the wheel center which claims to improve steering performance. There is also a newly developed suspension system with twin adjustable rear suspension modes for flexible driving mode & smooth driving mode, while the car’s narrow solid aluminium chassis has a centralized design for quicker steering and faster response. Supplied with 16mm big bore shocks, the car has a an optional mechanical brake for accurate braking and better control in the air.

AKA have announced the release of their Pro-5 1:8 buggy wheel aimed at the Short Course truck segment. The Pro-5 wheel is designed to use standard 1:8 buggy tires, but retain the scale look of Short Course trucks. This makes it a perfect compliment to the AKA 1:8 Wheel Adapters for the SC-10 and Slash SC trucks or a great ‘dress-up’ item for any buggy. Manufactured in the USA, it features a zero off-set, 17mm hex and will fit all standard 1:8 buggies, the Associated SC8 and the SC10 or Slash using the AKA adapters for those trucks. The five spoke design with the chrome accented bead lock really captures the essence of the SC trucks while offering the flexibility of fitting all the current buggy tires on the market.
