Lewis & Taylor win at Paddy Piston race

The BADMCC track of Craigavon, UK held the annual Paddy Piston Race this past weekend, attracting a very competitive field of drivers. In Nitro Buggy and after the 60-minute main final event, it was Team Associated’s Matt Lewis with the win from HB Racing’s Graham Alsop on the runner-up spot. Agama’s Elliot Taylor came in 3rd to round out the podium. The Nitro Truggy A-main had Elliot Taylor (Agama) walking away with the win from JQRacing’s Bradley Baird in 2nd and Agama’s Jon Hazlewood in 3rd.

Jessica Palsson doubles at Father’s Day race

The German MC Schwendt club held their Father’s Day race this past weekend. In Nitro Buggy it was fast Swedish Kyosho girl Jessica Palsson with the win from Mugen’s Timo Engelstätter on the 2 spot. Mugen’s Yannic Grieger would round out the top 3 result from Christopher Toni Beer (Agama) in 4th and Johannes Klett (Mugen) in 5th. Over in the 1/8th E-Buggy class it was again Jessica with the win as SWorkz’s Sophie Müller makes it an all-girl top 2. Steven Nortdorf (Agama), Domantas Cesiulis (TLR) and Frank Grieger (Mugen) came in 3rd to 5th place.

Rasmussen & Kaerup win at Danish EP Off-road Nats Rd3

The Glostrup RC club held round 3 of the Danish Electric Off-road Nationals this past weekend. The 2WD Buggy class saw Jesper Rasmussen taking the TQ from Marcus Kaerup and Jonas Kaerup. After the triple A-main events the order would stay the same with Jesper taking the opening two A-mains for the overall as Marcus cemented his runner-up position with a leg 3 win.

Nu Concept Pro shock & diff oils

Coming from Nu Concept are their new shock and differential oils. Rigorously tested and developed over the last 12 months by some top leading UK drivers, testing has been conducted in both high and low temperature conditions and the oils blended to achieve certified viscosities and to deliver the best levels of consistency possible. The oil is provided within a crystal clear 75ml bottle for quick bottle level checks and a quick lock twist cap from 200 to 800 cst for the shock oil range while the diff oil range from 1k to 12.5k cst.

Nick Wautlet sweeps Manufacturers Cup Open classes

The 2019 AMain Hobbies Manufacturers Cup was held held at the Silver Dollar track in Chico, California this past weekend. Run in Pro and Open classes it was Nick Wautlet who took overall wins in the Open Nitro Buggy and Open Nitro Truggy classes. Nick would take the TQ in Open Buggy and came out on top of the 14-minute A-main event from Daniel Blalock in 2nd and Mccoy Starkey in 3rd. Over in the 14-minute Open Nitro Truggy A-main it was Jermaine Robinson with the overall TQ, however it was 5th place qualifier Nick with the win some 4.5 seconds in front of Jermaine as Bryce Beaver came in 3rd a lap down.

T-Works MP10 hard-anodised aluminium shock towers

Coming from T-Works and made for Kyosho’s Inferno MP10 1/8th off-road buggy are aluminium front and rear shock towers. Cut from high-quality 7075-T6 and coming hard-anodised for wear and looks, the towers also feature laser-etched T-Works logos for added visual appearance. The shock stays are available separately from now on.

Elias Johansson doubles at Summer Cup Rd1

The technical Västerorts track played host to round 1 of the Swedish 1/10th Off-road Summer Cup. HB Racing’s Elias Johansson was in full control of the proceedings, taking the TQs and wins in both the 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes. Martin Johansson Nielsen (Xray) came in 2nd in 2WD while Markus Andreasson (Xray) rounded out the top 3 result. Over in 4WD Buggy the top 3 order would be as in 2WD with Elias taking then from Martin and Markus.

Toni Gruber takes EFRA GP Series 1/8th title

The third and final round of the EFRA GP Series was held in Türkheim, Germany this past weekend. Shepherd’s Toni Gruber was in control of things during qualifying, winning four of the five rounds to take the overall TQ from fellow Shepherd racer, Simin Kurzbuch on the 2 spot and Infinity’s Francesco Tironi in 3rd. The 45-minute main final then again saw Toni holding the upper hand, taking the win some two laps in front of Simon as Capricorn’s Robin D’hondt came in 3rd, another lap down. With the win, Toni also sealed the overall title, leaving behind Capricorn’s Mirko Salemi in 2nd and Infinity’s Teemu Leino in 3rd.
