Team Trinity have announced the first details about their truggy specific motor, a .24 that places it right in between a .21 and a .28. Featuring a square stroke, this configuration was chosen to give an optimum blend of torque and speed, instead of having to choose for one of the 2. Still in development, more information will be available in the future.

Similar to their standard offerings, Team Losi have announced the upcoming release of these lightweight versions of their current truggy dished wheel. Suitable for the 8ight-T, these Super strong and lightweight wheels make the car more agile and responsive on the track. Sold in a pack of 4, they are available in both yellow and white.

Caster Racing have released some teaser shots of their Fusion EX-1, the first purpose designed electric powered 1/8th scale buggy. Expected to be released in June, the buggy can take most modern battery packs and suitable speed controllers and BL motors on the market. Featuring an optimised, centralised layout, the batteries are mounted close to the center line, on either side of the center shaft for better balance and during testing the car performed very well. The pictures above and below show the prototype and according to Neo Buggy, there is a EP Truggy in the works.

The Extech Nitro X3 Clutch System is a 3 shoe clutch that allows you 3 different spring adjustments without removing the springs and shoes. This system allowed you to easily dial in your clutch for track conditions in a very short time. Adjustments are made by removing the nut and clutch bell, then the inner adjuster is lifted up and rotated to the next position to adjust the spring tension. Losi have released some lightened heavy duty outdrives for the centre and main axle differentials to help improve overall performance by reducing rotating weight. A direct replacement for both the front, rear and central differentials of all Losi 8ight and 8ight-T models these parts have been precision machined from premium high-carbon steel and feature additional machining to remove heavy steel material without sacrificing strength. Finally, these ultra strong and light-weight parts are heat treated to produce a hard, wear-resistant surface and finished-off with a Black, rust-resistant finish.

New from Atomic Carbon are these replacement shock towers for the Associated B44 buggy. Made from 4mm carbon fibre, and featuring additional shock holes alongside the standard kit holes, these towers are available for both the front and rear of the car. Having completed final testing they are now available to buy.

Italian company BP Racing have released information about their complete line of gas engines for 2008. Starting with their circuit engine, this 3.5cc is available in 2 versions, a 7 port and 9 port version and both feature a 14mm crankshaft, CNC machined piston and composite carburettor with interchangeable venturi. Similar in features, the buggy engine is available in a 3 and 5 port version, while the rally game motor comes in a 7 or 9 port version. For truggies, BP have also produced a 4.0cc motor available in 3 and 7 port versions.
