LapMonitor new Android app version

A new version of Android app for LapMonitor lap counting system is now available on the Playstore. It includes many new features, among them: built-in session history, race by lap/time, lap time edition, advanced statistics, Whatsapp sharing, bluetooth auto-reconnection and many more.  This version also introduces a new exclusive feature of LapMonitor timing system: The PaceMaker coach.  When enabled, the gap between your pace target and your current run will be announced every lap letting you know in real time if your pace is fast enough to achieve your session run forecast. This new version 1.73 is available for download on the Playstore.

RSRC Kyosho MP10 wing spacer

RSRC, the company of multiple European 1:8 Offroad Champion Reno Savoya, has released this wing spacer Kyosho MP10. Aerodynamics have taken a big role in 1:8 buggy for some time now with bodies and wings a major change for the car’s behaviour or setup changes. RSRC has designed the wing spacer in the lighter and most resistant material in 3D printed TPU which has for rubber-like flexibility.  The wing spacer is recommend for use on all tracks.  It brings a lot of aerodynamic downforce at high speed making the car more stable.  In addition, the rotation at low speed is increased with the weight of the wing sitting higher.  The spacer comes with M3x20 screws included.

Voting for new ROAR President open

ROAR (Remotely Operated Auto Racers), the sanctioning body for RC racing in North America, has opened voting for the election of a new President along with even numbered Region Directors. With current President Chuck Kleinhagen stepping down this year, two candidates, Clayton Young and David Larry, are in the running to lead the organisation. Voting, via the ROAR website, is open to current members with voting closing at midnight on November 30th. It is widely recognised that ROAR is in need of change to better serve the sport in what is one of the largest and most important RC racing markets in the World.
