X-Factory X-6 review by oOple

X-Factory X-6

Now i normally don’t post links to product builds or reviews because i like Red RC to be more of a news source but in this case we’ll make an exception. Jimmey Storey over at oOple.com has done and amazingly detailed review of the new X-Factory X-6 2wd conversion kit. The images and layout, as well as the words & tips, in this build are some of the best you’ll ever be likely to see. I urge you to check it out.

Read the X-Factory X-6 build here. You can also read other reviews and builds from oOple here.

Pro-Line Crime Fighter MTR

Pro Line Crime Fighter

More news from Pro-Line, this time they have announced their Crime Fighter tire, suitable for truggies and monster trucks. Extensively tested by their team riders, these new tires resist expansion thanks to inner ribbing and are more responsive thanks to a less pronounced sidewall but we’ll let Pro-Line tell you more…

Pro-Line is happy to report that the new MTR version of tire is more responsive due to its less pronounced sidewall and has an inner ribbing on the inner diameter of the tire and an inner ribbing on the sidewall of the tire; thus reducing the amount of tire expansion under acceleration and reducing the amount of sidewall flex while cornering.

Sirio Kanai Evo III STI spotted in the wild

Sirio Kanai Evo III

Buggy-Sport have the scoop on the new Sirio Kanai Evo III STI 3.5cc off road motor. Now we don’t know whose car this is in but the engine is seen in a Kyosho buggy and because of the timing we reckon it was taken at last weekends ‘GP International De Pierrefeu‘. Now Sirio employee and Kyosho racer Adrien Bertin was there so we are going to call it and say that this is his car….just like that (we’ll write a correction when found to be wrong :). By the way Adrien finished 9th after some problems in the final.

UPDATE: The car belonged to Stéphane Deroch and you can see him here with his car.

Also seen in the same car was a new Sirio pipe system, which you can be seen over at Buggy-Sport so check that out.

Atomic Carbon S4

Atomic Carbon S4

Oople.com got a close up look at the ‘under development’ Atomic Carbon S4 4wd buggy at last weekends race at the CML Raceway.

An evolution of the original “Slim 4”, this latest pre-production car is owned by Chris Doughty – former European Champion. Chris left a factory drive at Losi to drive the S4 for Atomic Carbon (and B4 for CML).

More than just a new name, the car actually has a unique chassis – a thick and very trick looking carbon fibre moulded tub design. This eliminates the need for an upper deck and also does a good job of sealing out the dirt.

New Ninja .21 buggy motor?

Ninja MR21-BO1A

According to Greek site, radiocontrol.gr, there is a new Ninja buggy motor out. Information is thin on the ground but there are enough changes on the motor to warrant a look. For starters the engine head features a new spec number, with the addition of A to the MR21-BO1 and also the crankshaft and conrod sport new series number. Not exactly a major update but more a simple material upgrade it seems. No official word on the Ninja website.
