Viktor Wilck takes Swedish TC Modified title

The Wäxjö MS club played host to the Swedish Electric Onroad Nationals this past weekend. The event was held in 1/10th and 1/12th classes and in 1/10th Touring Modified it was Infinity’s Viktor Wilck with the TQ and also the win, sealing his 10th national championship. Fabian Vernersson came in 2nd as Marcus van Elling (Xray) rounded out the top 3 in front of Team Associated’s Daniel Carlsson and HB Racing’s Elias Johansson. Over in the 13.5T Stock class it was Xray’s Marcus van Elling with the top spot after the qualifiers and he would also sweep the A-mains to take the win in front of Infinity’s Nathan Parker and Team Associated’s Daniel Carlsson.

Ryan Cavalieri wins at Revelation Raceway Club race

Revelation Raceway of of Ontario, California held a club race this past weekend, attracting local talent alongside the likes of SWorkz’s Ryan Cavalieri and Tekno RC’s Jared Tebo. The two tried to get some laps in in preparation of the forthcoming Dirt Nitro Challenge and they would battle it out in the Nitro Buggy class. Ultimately it was Ryan with the TQ and win as Jared came in 2nd, some 14 seconds short of Ryan due to too many mistakes. Mugen’s Javier Perez ended the race in 3rd, three laps behind the top 2.

Thomas Reynolds wins at Conquer the Carpet race

Outlaw RC of Surray, BC recently hosted the Conquer the Carpet event on a challenging and quick layout. In the popular 13.5T Wheeler class it was HB Racing’s Thomas Reynolds with the win from the Xray duo of Frank Bortolazzo and Paul Parks.

T-Works MP10 graphite radio & upper plate

T-Works have introduced new carbon fire option parts for the Kyosho Inferno MP10 buggy in the form of a radio plate and an upper plate. Both are cut from high-quality carbon fibre and they replace the standard alloy items. While adding a factory touch the parts also offer slightly different flex characteristics compared to the standard alloy items, allowing to adjust overall chassis flex.

Sweep GTR-2 Pro-Compounds 1/8th GT tyre

Coming from Sweep Racing is their new GTR-2 Pro-Compounds tyre for 1/8th GT racing. The smaller outer diameter and rounder shape provided faster initial cornering speeds with the new Pro-Compound rubber ensuring faster lap times and higher durability. The multi-spoke Evo-16 rim, coming in black or white colour, ensures the tyres excel in a variety of conditions and the tyres are available in 40, 45, 50 and 55 shore hardness with the GTR2-45EW16P being the official control tyre for the ANC GT class this year.

“The Start” ARMI electric off-road race – Report

The “The Start” ARMI race was held at the SDC Offroad Track in Serpong, Indonesia. The track is located close to Jakarta and the event attracted 60 entries for the 1/10th scale 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes as well as the 4WD SC Truck category. In 4WD Buggy, Bowie Ginting (Tekno) secured the TQ, tie on points with Ray Timothy (Xray). Rizky Pradana lining-up his Xray in 3rd followed by Rama Tribudiman (HB Racing) and Jason Nugroho (Xray) respectively. In the 2WD class, Rama (Team Associated) secured the 2WD class TQ after secured the first and second leg followed by Yuri Taruna (Team Associated) and Eric Kristianto (Team Associated), while Rusman Kusnowo sealed the pole for the Short Course class.

Capricorn have introduced the new ONE EFRA 2163 exhaust pipe. Designed for 1/8th scale applications the muffler, made of high-quality material and coming with a shiny polished surface finish, is available from now on as pipe only or in combination with a suitable manifold.

Capricorn short-type big bore shock shafts

Coming from Capricorn are new shorter shock shafts for the company’s big bore shock absorbers. 2.5mm shorter than the standard shafts the short-type items make for an optimised positioning of the shock pistons, resulting in increased overall traction. In addition the shafts are made of a new material with an updated surface coating making for a smoother finish than TiN-coated shock shafts.
