Pro-Line Micron 1/10th buggy rear tyres

Pro-Line Micron 1/10th buggy rear tyres

Coming soon from Pro-Line Racing is the Micron 1/10th rear buggy tyre. The tread is basically a lower pin option of the Electron with whom it shares the connected tread technology with an emphasis on creating as many forward facing edges as possible for maximum forward grip. The unique centre tread zig zags back and forth for both forward and side bite while maintaining good wear given the low tread height. The Micron is available in M4 super soft and MC clay compound including blue closed cell inserts.

Pro-Line B5M Predator & Flow-Tek Fusion SC bodyshell

Pro-Line have introduced two new bodyshells, the Predator B5M buggy body as well as the pre-cut Flo-Tek Fusion short course truck bodyshell. Starting with the Predator, the design was originally developed for the RC8B3 and has now been scaled down to fit perfectly on Team Associated’s mid motor 1/10th 2WD buggy. The Predator features a sleek and low-profile front cab and a rear section the will fit any transmission configuration including 3-gear and laid down styles. It takes design features from both Phantom and Type-R designs to create a whole new look with balanced performance in any condition. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks and a decal sheet.

Cole Ogden wins at Southern Nationals

Cole Ogden wins at Southern Nationals

The Southern Nationals were held over the weekend in Louisiana. In the Pro Buggy class Cole Ogden (TLR) took the TQ in the first two rounds of qualifying. The start of the main final then was a toss up; people were switching spots and wrecking everywhere. Cole cased the back double and lost the lead to Ryan Lutz (Tekno) on the first lap, only to regain it after dodging a wreck on the front straight. Cole continued to stretch his lead and lapped the field at about 20 minutes. Around that time, he made small mistake and flipped upside down, the marshall slipped and almost fell on Ogden’s car but stuffed his pipe in the process. Cole flamed out, got refired and got back on the track right in front of the epic second place battle between J.R. Mitch (TLR) and Joe Bornhorst (Tekno). Ultimately Cole maintained a good lead till the finish to take the win from Ryan Lutz in second and Joe Bornhorst in third.
