New on display was a pre production prototype of their new range of electronic equipment which comprises of 3 seperate items, a power supply, a charger and a touring car tire warmer. Only just received at the show, these first samples will be changed quite a bit before release but will be modular and of a high quality. Other items included new regulaters for LiPo packs, competition hard cased LiPo’s for touring cars and a new aluminium honeycomb carbon fibre setup board. Xray have announced that they have begun selling this limited edition setup board for 1/10th scale touring cars, the same as those given to Xray racers at the European Championships in Madrid. Team Magic have become the 3rd manufacturer in 3 days to release a setup board, with the release of this stylish 1/8th scale version. Made from special wood that has been highly compressed, the board will not warp and is prefectly flat, and at 500x480mm it should be big enough to work on anything up until a 1/8th scale circuit car.
