RC Speed Secrets release more EB410 titanium options

RC Speed Secrets have more Beast Mode series titanium option parts for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy available in the form of new screw kits, battery thumb screws and swaybar balls. On the fastener side of things RCSS come up with a 29-piece lower chassis titanium screw kit that will save weight while adding bling thanks to RCSS’ Bada Bling oil slick or Stealth black finish. Using the screws will save some weight while also improving corrosion resistant compared to standard steel fasteners. Also new is a 4-piece set of lightweight titanium motor screws that includes two 3x8mm and two 3x10mm fasteners. Like the above lower screw kit the set will improve looks, reduce weight and prevents rust even in demanding racing conditions. Available in Bada Bling or Stealth black finish for added visual impact.

T-Works XB4’18 titanium turnbuckles & screw kits

Coming from T-Works and made for the Xray XB4’18 4WD buggy are new option parts such as a titanium turnbuckle set as well as two screw kits. The 7-piece turnbuckle set is made of high-quality 64 grade titanium and it was designed to replace the standard spring steel turnbuckles with lighter items for reduced unsprung masses and a lower overall weight. Included in the set is a suitable turnbuckle wrench. Also new is a 64 grade titanium screw kits featuring the UFO socket head fasteners, that will reduce overall weight and improve corrosion resistance while the other new screw kit, featuring gold-plated steel screws, mainly adds some bling. Alberto Alonso teams up with Serpent

Serpent have announced the signing of former Spanish National 1/8th On-road Champion, Alberto Alonso, to their team. Alberto will campaign Serpent’s 988 platform at regional and national races along select international events, such as the forthcoming EFRA GP in Fiorano, Italy.

Tamiya F104 1.5mm/2.5mm rear axle bearing holders

Coming soon from Tamiya are 1.5mm and 2.5mm offset rear axle bearing holders for the F104 formula kit. The set includes two of each size that, together with the 0mm, 1mm, and 2mm kit items, will allow for very fine rear ride height adjustments in 0.5mm increments. The black-colour parts come with white markings for easy identification and they will hit stores by end of May.

VSR Products ball cup tool

VSR Products have introduced their new 3-D-printed ball cup tool. Designed with the latest in CAD software and produced on high-quality 3-D-printers, the tool can be used in multiple ways. Racers can twist it by hand using the ribbed surface, or use a 7mm wrench for ultimate ease and speed. The tool is available for TLR HD closed, Team Associated B5, and Team Associated B6 ball cup with more brands coming soon.

Raceform EB410 V2 shock towers & rear side skirt

Raceform have introduced their new V2 shock towers and rear side skirt for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. Starting with the shock towers, the updated V2 variants of the revolutionary high impact polycarbonate shock stays are of a tougher design and the rear one comes with threaded M3 camber link ball stud holes to do away with the need to use fastening nuts, saving valuable weight. The meticulously calculated towers are of a gearbox and shock standoff saving design and the rear tower supports a front-mounted shock layout for an updated weight balance.

HB Racing D418 4WD buggy – Teaser images

HB Racing have released first production kit images of their forthcoming D418 1/10th 4WD competition buggy. No additional information, beside what is already known, was given and so it is understood that the buggy will utilise the proven, however slightly updated, D4 series front and rear suspension elements that couple to a newly developed aluminium main chassis plate with updated weight distribution thanks to a front mounted shorty battery, a centre motor position and a more reward-facing centre bulkhead. We bring you more information on the kit as soon as it becomes available.

RSRC 56 compartment storage box

Coming from Renaud Savoya’s own RSRC brand is a 56 compartment hardware storage box. With outer dimensions of 253x205x50mm the box is pretty compact, however the 56 inner boxes allow to store a wide range of hardware from bolts, nuts and washer up to larger items as the box utilises 36 mini storage boxes of 40x40x15mm, 18 mini boxes of 32x35x15mm and also two larger containers of 65x120x22mm. The semi-transparent box is finished with Renaud’s signature shark design and it is available now.
