Team Wild 13 win 24h race in Luxembourg

Since 1999, ETS, EOS & ENS front man Uwe Rheinard has organized his legendary 24h race for 1:10 electric rc cars. Since the beginning Uwe trusted in the Tamiya-plastic-chassis, starting with FWD Chassis FF01 and up to today with the TT01 chassis. Only for one year the teams had to use a foreign car, but at the end it showed, that Tamiya chassis was the best choice. from the start teams from Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria and Luxembourg traveled to five different tracks in Germany to enjoy that awesome endurance-race. A maximum of 7 drivers in each team is allowed which means that every year from 112 up to 168 drivers travel hundreds of kilometers to be part of the longest night in the RC Car scene.

Awesomatix A700 spur gear damper system

Awesomatix A700 spur gear damper system

Awesomatix have released a new spur gear damper system for all A700 cars. The new system has damping from the o-rings which softens the reaction from the motor and makes the shaft transmission more similar to belt transmission when the throttle or the brake are applied. Lap times become more consistent and the car is easy to drive. In order to install this system you should increase the two current holes on the spur gear to 5mm. Awesomatix plans to produce its own line of spur gears with these holes in the future.
