TPro Matrix 1/8th buggy tyre

MW RC Cars have introduced the new TPro Matrix tyre for 1/8th buggies. It features a specially designed tread for indoor tracks or outdoor high-traction surfaces and it provides fast steering response thanks to its honeycomb pattern and inside mini square pins. The tyre is meant to excel in both clean wet or dry track conditions while offering exceptional wear characteristics thanks to its long wearing XR compounds. The tyre comes pre-mounted on white wheels or as rubber including inserts and in yellow medium-soft, blue soft, white super-soft or green ultra-soft compound.

SWorkz S14-3 carpet edition 4WD buggy – Coming soon

European SWorkz distributor MW RC Cars has released first renderings of the carpet edition S14-3 1/10th 4WD buggy that is currently under development. Together with the S14-2, that was designed for dirt tracks, the S14-3 will complete SWorkz’s line of competition buggies with the kit being currently track tested and it is expected to hit stores soon. We bring you more information on the buggy as soon as they surface.

2018 RC Lemans Series – Announcement

The popular Pro10 RC Lemans Series, held in Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands, is going into its 13th season this year with the championship kicking off on the weekend of the 15th of April in Genk, Belgium. The series is held in Pro10 Modified and 10.5T Zero Boost Stock classes and a 2-day event with free practice on Saturday and qualifiers and finals on Sunday. 2018 sees a somewhat condensed calendar with the season finale will be held on the 25th and 26th of August in Velp, The Netherlands with the event being also the official warm-up for the German championships in September. MW Off Road V1 Team Edition .21 off-road engine

MW RC Cars from Austria have introduced their new MW Off Road V1 Team Edition nitro off-road engine. Based on the Picco V1 power plant, the MW version features a 3-port setup for an overall smoother power band. The engine comes with a balanced, silicone-filled crankshaft for improved mixture flow, a carburettor with double bottom end adjustment as well as a lightened and laser-engraved cooling head.

Coelho wins uneventful A1

Bruno Coelho won an uneventful first A-Main this morning at the Yokomo Euro Touring Series, the Xray driver making an early break over the pack to build up a gap that even allowed him to have a moment at the chicane.  Already with a comfortable lead by the second lap, while the pursuing Ronald Volker and Marc Rheinard would close a little but never had the reigning champion under any pressure. Instead it was Volker who came under pressure from Rheinard but overall the race saw only one position change with Akio Sobue getting by Christopher Krapp for 7th place.

Coelho claims TQ in Germany

Bruno Coelho has claimed the overall TQ at the Euro Touring Series second round in Germany.  The Xray driver secured the top spot on tomorrow’s A-Main grid with the fastest 5-minute run of the weekend in the fourth and final qualifier.  With only Ronald Volker in a position to deny the reigning champion pole position, a set-up change by the Yokomo driver meant he couldn’t match Coelho’s improved set-up with the main challenge for the round coming from a further improved Marc Rheinard.  Another mistake however, similar to the one he made in the previous round, ended Rheinard’s TQ hopes.  Finishing 2nd to Coelho, the championship leader will start third behind Volker with Yannic Prumper and Alexander Hagberg completing the front half of the grid.

Rivals hand Coelho Q3

The third round of qualifying at Yokomo Euro Touring Series in Germany saw Bruno Coelho handed the TQ as the majority of his rivals threw away potential TQ runs through driver errors.  Afterwards even the Xray driver admitted he was lucky that so many other drivers crashed allowing him to claim his second TQ run of the weekend.  Having looked strong to become the third different TQ so far, Marc Rheinard would make a mistake at the chicane eventually ending up 2nd ahead of Yannic Prümper who threw away his TQ chances on the penultimate lap.

Bruno BC-1863 & BC-1871 high performance servos

As announced during the opening day of the second round of the Euro Touring Series held in Daun, Germany this weekend, Portugal’s Bruno Coelho has launched his own RC brand, named Bruno. The first products to hit the market is a range of high-performance servos with the BC-1863X (0.076s/10.0kg-cm) being specially developed for the 2018 and 2017 Xray T4 touring cars as it incorporates a floating servo mount, doing away with the need to run the standard aluminium and carbon fibre assembly. The substantially lowers the overall centre of gravity while making for easier assembly and maintenance as well as increased reliability. The water-resistant and Sanwa SSR mode compatible servo features a brushless motor, steel gears, 12-bit technology and a short 50mm wire.
