JConcepts S15 RC8B4 Body

JConcepts has announced the release of their S15 body shell for the Team Associated RC8B4. The latest platform from the reigning 1:8 Buggy World Champion manufacturer, it came several new features to design around for the team at JConcepts who spent considerable time evaluating the new chassis layout and how to incorporate the championship winning S15 body to the vehicle. The S15 blends performance features from the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabilizer kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. Since the latest chassis platform included revised steering geometry, front gearbox updates and a new front shock tower, revisions were needed around the entire front-end to fit the new buggy body properly. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Team Associated RC8B4 model.

JConcepts premount Pin Swag 2WD Front Tyre

JConcepts is now offering their Pin Swag 2WD front tyre pre-mounted. The Pin Swag, which combines the outer lugs of a JConcepts Swagger front tire with the dense arrangement of specialty pins, is assembled and glued on JConcepts 3376 wheels in either bright white or fluorescent yellow colours. A unique feature on the Pin Swag and many of the JConcepts carpet/astro turf racing tyres is the scalloped tyre bead which removes a lot of weight from a normally beefy area. The tips of the bead touch off on the inner beads on the wheel which lead to a great alignment but now with reduced rotating weight.

T-Works B6 Titanium Slipper Spring Adapter

Coming from T-Works is this Titanium Slipper Spring Adapter for Team Associated’s B6 1:10 2WD chassis. Machined from Ti64 grade titanium, they are a direct lightweight replacement for the standard kit adapter which holds the slippery spring in place.

JConcepts Nessi & Swagger 1:8 Buggy Tyres

JConcepts has added two new additions to its extensive tyre range with the new Nessi and Swagger 1:8 Buggy Tyres. The Nessi tyre, shares styling cues from its successful 1:10 counterparts, but a slight increase in pin size and geometry make it quite the tire for 1:8 buggy vehicles. Racing on artificial surfaces require a lot of stability and forward-bite and the design team went to work to substantially improve performance. The new tire brings a new 3D blended pin-size, pin-separation, and a light-weight carcass. The Swagger 1:8 tyre has a multitude of heights and angular ribs for corning speed, consistency, and straight-line tracking ability. The tyre has shown to produce an easier to drive vehicle while still being capable of fast lap times. They are designed for standard 83mm mounting bead, 1:8 buggy wheels available from JConcepts.

Factory Team RC10B74.2 Steering Block Arms

New from Team Associated’s optional parts brand Factory Team are these Steering Block Arms for the RC10B74.2 1:10 4WD Buggies. Machined from carbon fibre, two new arm options are available for fine tuning the steering feel of your buggy. Screen printed with the number for easy identification, the +2 steering arms will have the smoothest and least aggressive feel while +1 will be a good middle ground between the +2 and the standard kit steering arms.

Ongaro signs with Matrix Racing Tires

Back to back 1:8 Offroad World Champion Davide Ongaro has signed with Matrix Racing Tires. Having raced for 5-years with AKA and won both his World titles with the American brand, the Italian joins fellow Italian Cristian Boni’s brand as the establish Onroad tyre producer ventures into the Offroad market. Making the announcement on social media, Matrix posted, ‘Who can explore the universe better than the best Driver in the world? Only the multiple times World Champion. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleasure to introduce you Mr. Davide Ongaro. Davide has signed with Matrix Offroad Tires and his work it will be important for us and all our customers… Just Stardust on Offroad Tracks!’ Adding to the news on his own social media the factory Team Associated driver said, “I want to say a big thanks to Boni Cristian and all Matrix crew for the help and support they will give to us, I’m super happy to joint this team and ready for a new adventure. Nosram to power Martin’s 2023 offroad campaigns

Nosram has announced that top international offroad racer Lee Martin is to use their batteries in 2023. The news is the second significant driver announcement from the relaunched brand who announced the signing of onroad ace Alexander Hagberg at the start of the year. A World Championship runner up and multiple European Champion, Martin, who moved from Yokomo to Schumacher this season, will use Nosram to power is 1:10 offroad program as well as his 1:8 Electric Offroad campaign with Agama.
