Round 2 of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was hosted by the Glostrup Racing Club this past weekend. Actually the season opener, after round 1 had to be cancelled due to the Corona virus pandemic, it was Awesomatix driver, Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen with the overall TQ in the Touring Super Stock class following a clean sweep in the qualifiers. The opening round of the Danish 1/8th off-road Championship was hosted by the Skanderborg RC club last weekend. With Nitro Buggy being held on Sunday, it was time for the E-Buggies and Nitro Truggies on Saturday. The latter saw Pelle Culmsee taking the TQ honours from Nikolai Lamberts on the 2 spot. The 45-minute A-main final then had Serpent’s Nikolai taking the winning honours some three laps in front of Mugen driver, Jan Hansen in 2nd. The opening round of the Danish 1/8th off-road nationals was hosted by the Skanderborg RC club this past weekend. SWorkz driver, Pelle Culmsee (SWorkz/Picco/T-Pro) was the man to beat in both the nitro and electric classes as he walked away with the TQ and win in Nitro Buggy from 2. Daniel Bubel (Xray/FX/AKA) in 2nd and Magnus Frandsen (JQRacing/Alpha/6Mik) in 3rd. The Danish Electric On-road Nationals came to an abrupt end this season as due to the world-wide Corona pandemic the final round had to be cancelled. This allowed Kevin Nielsen to take the overall title in his maiden Modified Touring Car season thanks to taking three wins out of the three rounds that count towards the overall championship. Round 5 of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was held in Tinglev last weekend. While Kevin Nielsen walked away with the win in the Modified Touring class it was Casper Lund (Xray) who would bring home the win in Super Stock Touring Car from Xray teammate, Stefan Finnich in 2nd and Schumacher’s Phillip Pedersen in 3rd. The fifth round of this season’s Danish DRCMU On-road Nationals was held in Tinglev this past weekend. In the premier Touring Modified class it was Xray’s Kevin Nielsen with the overall TQ from teammate, Patrick Danielsen in 2nd. The opening A-main saw Yokomo’s Frederik Hovgaard taking the win as Kevin came in 2nd and Michael Hovgaard completed the top 3. In A2 it was Kevin’s turn who would take the win from Patrick in 2nd and Frederik in 3rd. The final round of the Danish Electric On-road Nationals was held in Tolls over the weekend. The Touring Superstock class saw Frederik Brolos Mikkelsen (Awesomatix) taking the overall TQ from Xray’s Casper Lund in 2nd and Soren Boy Holst (Gizmo) in 3rd. The opening A-main saw the top 3 crossing the finish line in starting order while A2 was won by Casper in front of Soren as Frederik scored a DNF. Round 5 of the popular Danish RC Kongen Winter Series was held in four electric off-road classes this past weekend. In 2WD Modified Buggy it was Team Associated driver, Marcus Kaerup with the overall TQ from his father Jonas Kaerup (Team Associated) as Yokomo’s Frederik Hovgaard came in 3rd after the qualifiers.
