Capricorn C803 1-piece engine mount

Italian company Capricorn have introduced a 1-piece engine mount for the C803 1/8th nitro on-road car. The rigid construction not only reduces flex of the chassis centre section, it also keeps the engine’s crankcase from becoming twisted for an overall improved bearing and engine life. On top of this the engine mount makes for easier gear mesh adjustment.

Dave Crompton wins at UK Winter Series

Pendle in the UK recently held a round of their Winter series and in qualifying Dave Crompton would walk away with the TQ from Ashlee Owen and Mick Butler. Going into finals Ashlee started clean but Dave pulled away. Ashlee continued to push hard as the conditions become more slippery with the falling rain and before the second fuel stop, Dave ran out of fuel, providing Ashlee with an opening to contend for the win. Up until the second to last lap Ashlee managed to hold onto to the lead until traffic caused him some issues in the very late stages, handing Dave the win from Ashlee and Mick, who ran an electric-powered buggy.
