MIP TLR 22 3.0 Roller Pucks bi-metal drive system

MIP’s popular Roller Pucks bi-metal drive system is now also available for the TLR 22 3.0 buggy. The design with alloy diff ring discs and steal outdrives makes for a 25 percent weight reduction compared to the stock parts, without compromising strength and durability, making the set ideal for modified racers who wish to save on rotational mass. The kit is also usable for 13.5T Super Stock racers and it includes replaceable Roller Pucks, tungsten carbide diff balls, machined aluminium T-nut and all necessary lubes.

Sweep Defender-T 1/8th truggy tyre

Sweep have introduced their new Defender-T tyre for 1/8th scale truggies. Based off of the Defender buggy tyre the truggy-specific variant builds on the new V2 carcass with a reduced width and rounder shape, providing a more constant driving feeling on bumpy tracks while also creating more forward drive. The square-type tread along with refined pin spacing will create tons of side-bite and the tyre is available soon in YX, SX, BX, RX, and WX long-wear compounds.

Ralph Burch departs Xray

2010 IFMAR 200mm Sedan World Champion, Ralph Burch has announced his departure from long-term sponsor Xray. The veteran on-road racer gave Xray a maiden World Championship title along with many national victories. Leaving Xray and US distributor RC America behind, Ralph will now focus on new challenges and opportunities.

I would like to thank RCAmerica and Xray for the last 15 years. Together we celebrated our first world title and many national titles. I would like to also thank the team drivers and retailers for there support over these years. With that being said, I have decided to take on a new challenge and explore other opportunities.

PowerHD DW25LV crawler-specific servo

New from PowerHD comes the crawler-specific DW25LV servo. It features an all-aluminium case, durable titanium and steel gears, a powerful coreless motor and it pulls up to 25kg-cm of torque at a speed of 0.11s. The standard voltage servo is also fully waterproof to make for rear go-everywhere capabilities and it comes black anodised and with white laser-etched graphics.

Losi XL-range aluminium shock towers & chassis braces

Losi have introduced new aluminium option parts for the DBXL and MTXL range of large scale kits. First up are front and rear shock towers cut from high-quality aluminium and coming black anodised and with silver chamfered edges. The parts incorporate several mounting positions for the shock absorbers and camber links and they include all needed mounting hardware. Available separately the shock towers are usable on both the DBXL buggy and MTXL truck.

Muchmore Impact Linear LCG 5200mAh 4S LiPo battery

Coming from Muchmore is the new Impact Linear LCG FD2 5200mAh 14.8V LiPo battery pack. Offering a reduced height of 36mm the 4S pack is build from high-performance 110C cells for high power output in demanding racing conditions. The lower height compared to standard 4S packs makes for an overall lower centre of gravity, resulting in faster cornering of both off-road and on-road cars. The pack comes pre-wired with 10AWG wire, a T-type plug and an XH balancer connector.

Pro-Line adds realism with concrete 1:10 K-Rail

Pro-Line have introduced the True Scale concrete 1/10th K-Rail. Adding realism to any scale scene the K-Rails are good for the use as chicanes for off-road racing, race borders and obstacles for drifting, start and finish line borders for rock racing and rock crawling events, scale construction scene objects and borders, scale freeway dividers, or as a great way to display scale RC models. These K-rails will add an instant sense of scale dimension to any application. As a true-scale representation of the full size K-Rails they are made of real concrete and reinforced with steel rebar. They are easily paintable to fit right into any scene, be it stark white with high visibility for a race or construction scene, or to take it underground by adding street art or graffiti.

JConcepts RC8T3 Finnisher bodyshell

JConcepts have introduced the Finnisher bodyshell for the Team Associated RC8T3 and T3e. Winner of the 2016 ROAR National Championship in the hands of Spencer Rivkin, the body features a slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance. A wide front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for front suspension and the body incorporates a large center fin which begins on the roof line and finishes just past the half-way point on the bed. An extended front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight. The body incorporates pre-dimpled body post locations and it also includes champion rear name plates which provide additional high-speed stability and improved positioning of the rear bed rails to strengthen the assembly. Overall handling has been improved by balancing the bias between the cab location and rear wing placement which control the majority of the aero affects of the aggressively styled body.
