Jared Tebo doubles at Summer Series

The Plex in Omaha, Nebraska held a round of their Summer Series races this past weekend, attracting a good amount of drivers to get some laps under their belts in preparation for the forthcoming 2016 ROAR 1/10th Nationals. The race format was practice on Friday evening and Saturday morning followed by two qualifiers and single mains. Kyosho’s Jared Tebo would make a clean sweep in the 4WD Modified Buggy class taking the TQ after the two rounds of qualifying and grabbing the win in the 8 minute A-main. 2WD was a bit different as in Q1 Jared needed to be marshalled but he still took the TQ but in Q2 numerous moments had Tebo missing out on the top spot by 2 seconds. The 2WD main then was a pretty exciting affair. Coming from the 2 spot and racing the leader nose to tail until the very last lap leader Alex went a car width too wide after the whoops, allowing Jared to take the lead and the win.
