Yeah Racing 1/10th on-road car stand

New from Yeah Racing comes a car stand for 1/10th scale on-road vehicles. Constructed using black anodised aluminium and machined carbon fibre, the car stand also acts as a shock stand when building or maintaining shock absorbers. Additional foam strips keep the chassis from sliding around while narrow strips for the bottom part of the alloy rails keep the stand located on the pit table securely.

Nico Schmid dominates Alpencup race

The fourth round of the Alpencup series was recently held on the all-new astroturf track of the EFAC Hohenems club. In the 2WD Buggy class, Xray’s Nico Schmid brought home the win, coming from the 2 spot on the grid, from Xray team mate and TQ holder Michel Buschor. Nico’s brother Florian Schmid (Xray) rounded out the podium in third.

Coming from Team Corally is the Nitro Powerbox, a twin motor starter box for 1/8th off-road vehicles. Offering a compact design the twin 750-size motors provide enough power to start even factory-new engines that are known to offer lots of “pinch”. The inner battery mounts hold two 7.2V NiMH or 7.4V LiPo packs that are connected using the factory-installed T-plug connectors. Usable for 1/8th nitro buggies or nitro truggies the box comes pre-assembled and including adjustable chassis location pins.

Martin Wollanka wins Austrian Nitro Buggy Nats Rd2

Round two of the Austrian Nitro Buggy National Championship was held at the Waidhofen track. Xray’s Martin Wollanka made a clean sweep, taking the TQ after the qualifiers and the pole position for the A-main with his FX-powered ride. The main final was then also won by Martin in pretty dominant fashion, as he ended the race a lap ahead of Dominic Bauer (Mugen/Novarossi) with Maximilian Hauenschild (Mugen/Novarossi) coming in third.

Avid B6-series titanium ball stud kit

Avid have introduced a titanium ball stud kit for the Team Associated B6 and B6D off-road buggies. It includes a total of 12 ball studs made from billet 6Al-4V material and sporting 2mm allen heads on top of the ball for easy removal. 40 percent lighter than the kit’s steel ball joints the titanium parts help to scrub some weight while also looking great.

Cooter Kenney wins at Nitro Nights Series Rd2

Northern California’s Central Valley RC Raceway hosted the 2nd race of the Nitro Nights Series with some of Northern California’s top drivers were in attendance including Jonathan Hernandez, Bryce Beaver, and Austin Blair. In Pro Buggy and after a flawless drive Cooter Kenney brought home the win from second placed Bryan Curran and third placed Bryce Beaver.

Pro-Line have introduce an all-new tyre specifically designed for 2.2″ monster trucks. The Destroyer is made from Pro-Line’s Legendary M3 race rubber for maximum traction on dirt or carpet. Similar to full size monster truck tyres the Destroyer features an alternating deep-grooved chevron style tread pattern for forward traction while maintaining a scale appearance, which is perfect for trucks like the Wheelie King. Pro-Line 1/10th front wing & alloy wing mounts

New from Pro-Line is a 1/10th 2WD buggy front wing with aluminium wing mounts for a range of vehicles. The new front wing first debuted at the 2016 Reedy Race of Champions by taking home the Championship win at the hands of Pro-Line team driver Dakotah Phend. The wing is placed in front of the shock tower and sits as low as possible for the cleanest air flow and lowest possible centre of gravity. Coming in 2-piece sets each one has three different cut lines to adjust the amount of front downforce to what works best for the car and track conditions. The included aluminium mount has been black anodised to fit with virtually any paint scheme, they are also made in the USA using the latest in CNC manufacturing technology and the wing sets are available for the Team Associated B5 and B6, TLR 22 3.0, Kyosho RB6, and Yokomo YZ-2.
