MIP have introduced their ball diff grease and lube kit for the use with the company’s ball differentials as well as pretty much every other ball diff out there. Both lubes are specially formulated for the use on the thrust bearings and also diff ball assembly in order to deliver maximum performance and durability. The amount supplied provides enough lube for many builds and rebuilds with the grease coming in handy snap cap containers.

Coming from Team Associated and made for the RC10B6 and B6D is a tall carbon fibre shock tower. The longer tower allows the buggies to accommodate longer, higher-capacity 31mm shocks, the same shocks that come on the B5 series, for better compliance on very bumpy or loose tracks. The tower fits both the B6 and B6D.

Peter Pinisch doubles at rain-affected Austrian Nats Rd3

Last weekend the third round of the Austrian Nationals was held at the dirt track TSA Krieglach. The weather forecast for the race day was not so good and the rain stopped the race after three rounds of qualifying. Schumacher’s Peter Pinisch took the win in both classes with the fastest time of the day. The Team Associated duo of Stefan Pfeifhofer and Lucas Grainer would side-line Peter on the 2WD podium while Hupo Hönigl (Xray) and Marcel Rekettye completed the 4WD top 3 result.

Victorian Drivers Series Rd2 – Report

Round two of the Victorian Drivers Series was held at the regional club on Mildura, around 550km northwest of Melbourne. Over 140 entries were received for the event, including close to 20 in the under 16 junior class, the first to be held at the famous club’s new facility which their members ha. With a very large red clay track with a unique diagonal centre straight, and winter desert climate giving freezing mornings and sunny afternoons, the event was a challenge for all racers. The surface was very cold and slick in the mornings but grooved up through the day, making tyre choice critical. With the large entries the meeting was run over 3 days, practice Friday and Saturday morning, qualifying Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, finals Sunday afternoon.

Gavin Kwok wins at Chinese GM Cup

GMCGavin Kwok wins at Chinese GM Cupup

The 3-Circles Battery track in Xiamen, China recently played host to the GM Cup. In the triple Touring Modified A-mains Xray driver Gavin Kwok would take wins in A1 and A2 after being in battles with both Xray team mate Gary Huang and Yokomo’s Faiho. Ultimately Gary would grab the runner-up spot with two second place finishes and even a win in A3, where he also scored the fastest lap of the weekend, while Faiho had to settle for third overall.

Kurzbuch & Wischnewski aiming to build on early ENS lead

Simon Kurzbuch and Dirk Wischnewski travel to Germany this weekend aiming to build on the early points lead victory brought them at the Euro Nitro Series season opener in April. Following an 8-week break since the Bologna event, the onroad nitro championship returns to Minidrom Ettlingen which last year made its first appearance on the ENS calendar bringing contrasting results for the two drivers. For 1:10 specialist Wishnewski, his home race would end a 6-year drought of international wins as he notched up both his and Team Shepherd’s first victory in the high profile championship. For Kurzbuch, then as the reigning ENS Champion, the race would effectively end his title hopes as the Top Qualifier finished only 7th. As he struggled, up front it was the new champion to be Dario Balestri who would claim his first 1:8 victory of the ENS.
