ProTek RC CR21 3-Port .21 Offroad Engine

ProTek RC has announced its new CR21 3-port .21 off-road engine with the same DNA as its highly successful Samurai engine line. The budget-friendly ProTek CR21 features a newly designed crankshaft to improve engine response and a lightweight piston that further assists with a crisp engine response on throttle input. The combustion chamber design optimises low to medium RPM ranges, perfect for newer racers, while still offering high performance output at high speeds for more experienced drivers. And it is easy to tune and stabilise with a 2-needle carburetor with 6mm and 7mm inserts available. An “EBIS” version of the ProTek RC CR21 is also available, featuring the engine break-in services of RC racing and industry legend Adam Drake.

Factory Team Vertical Ballstud Mount Set

Team Associated’s Factory Team brand has released Vertical Ballstud Mounts for the RC10B74 series cars, including the B74.2 and B74.2D. These vertical ballstud mounts increase the tunability of the rear camber link, allowing for lower ballstud positions to be used as well as a further outward ballstud position. These pieces mount directly to the tower included in the kit. The intent of these mounts is to allow drivers more versatility than what is available on the kit tower, particularly regarding mounting the inner rear ballstud, which affects the roll center and camber gain of the car. The extent of the available adjustment range will depend on multiple factors such as differential height, hub height, link length, and more.

JConcepts RM2 B6.4 precut chassis protective sheet

JConcepts has release this RM2 pre-cut chassis protective sheet for the B6.4. A high-end item used for many years on the performance side of RC racing is the chassis protective sheet. While it’s not easy to re-invent the chassis sheet, JConcepts, along with Ryan Maifield, now offer a newly designed protective sheet for the latest Team Associated vehicle. The heavy-duty and pre-cut item has the latest RM2 graphics incorporated into the scheme with subdued background imagery. The 2-piece design includes 3 extra rear chassis pieces and a selection of pre-cut decals scattered throughout. After a tough race weekend, there will be no excuses and “no apologies” with this design. Xtreme Racing Optima Mid ‘Shorty’ chassis conversion

Xtreme Racing has released a custom carbon fibre “Shorty Pack” chassis designed for the re-release of the Kyosho Optima Mid 2022. This chassis allows better layout by putting a shorty 2 cell hard pack on one side of the chassis and the electronics on the opposite side. The battery is placed close to the centre line to help with weight balance. With the battery being placed close to the centre the top plate has been made just for this chassis with cut outs for battery plugs. The conversion kit is supplied with a 2.5mm bottom chassis, a 2.0 mm top plate and a battery hold down system.

Avid Ringer Shock Standoffs

Avid Racing Concepts have released these Ringer Shock Standoffs which are a direct replacement for the kit standoffs, including (4) standoffs, and (4) Delrin pivot bushings. They are made of black anodized 7075 Aluminum with a 7mm nut and our Ringer design silver highlights at the base to blind your competition with. Each standoff is fully threaded to help prevent bent shock mount screws. The Delrin pivot bushings are designed to rest against the smooth standoff instead of the screw which extends the life of them however they can be replaced to help maintain a tight fit in your shock cap when needed.

JConcepts Mono Losi Mini-B front wheel

JConcepts has release the Mono wheels as the latest accessory available for the Losi Mini-B vehicle. The front wheels are a direct replacement and fit a selection of JConcepts tires on the market. The wheels are designed in the popular dish style and available in white and fluorescent yellow. The new Mono wheels are ~37.70mm in diameter which match the standard size of the Mini-B front wheel. The flat shape of the wheel design and superior inner rib design provide great performance and durability. The wheels incorporate light-weight pockets inside the wheel which surrounds the wheel nut and a slightly textured tire bead for mounting security. The wheels are designed with small JC logo for brand identification and authenticity.

Reds 721 Superveloce Pro Silver Edition

Reds Racing has released a new Ultra Tuned version of 721 Superveloce (Superfast) Pro 3.5cc off-road engine. This tuned engine is a limited edition of only 300 units all around the World. This is the same engine used by Reds Factory Team at the 2022 IFMAR Worlds in Redovan together with our new 2113 X-One pipe. Reds’ main goal was to develop a faster engine compared to the Superveloce which is able to guarantee good fuel mileage. Thanks to the special modification to the sleeve and crankshaft we managed to make it even faster than the Superveloce and at the same time drivable. Furthermore, the combination with the new 2113 X-One pipe allowed them to create this new monster tuned engine. This engine is suitable for tracks where a more powerful unit will give you an advantage. The Superveloce is a classic 3.5cc 7 ports engine, a feature that has now become REDS Racing trademark, it can be used for both 1/8 buggy and truggy. Thanks to the AirBoost backplate and Extra Tuning by Mario Rossi the new engine has an extremely linear power delivery, which makes it super powerful but at the same time drivable.

JConcepts Hawk/Animal tyres for Losi Mini-B/Mini-T 2.0

JConcepts has released a new front and rear tyre for the Losi Mini-B. The new Hawk front tyre and Animal rear offer one of the best ways to attack the dirt and sand. JConcepts’ narrowed carcass on the Hawk has strategically placed radius ribs in a step-up fashion to give turning traction during different depths of surface conditions while the Animal carcass has strategically placed upper paddles with a scoop shape to thrust into any patch of terrain. One of the most important functions of driving in loose dirt is the ability to track the vehicle in a straight-line. The Hawk is cut to perform during long straight sections of bashing and flat-out high-speed runs across the RC sand dunes. The Animal is cut from the tooth of all JConcepts performance tires and excel during long straight sections of bashing and flat-out high-speed runs across the RC sand dunes. Both tyres are built in the durable and grippy green compound which gives support and traction in mixed conditions and is held with an open cell insert for extra cushion during jump landing.
