Surpass Rocket 540 Plus V2 combo

Surpass have introduced the V2 version of their Rocket 540 Plus 4-pole brushed crawler motor. The power plant features a 5-slot 775-sized rotor for improved low-speed linearity and increased low-speed torque and it makes use of high-strength and high-temperature resistant neodymium iron boron magnets. Compared with its predecessor, performance has been improved with lower internal resistance along using optimised magnets resulting in reduced heat build up making the whole unit more efficient. The motor is available in four different winding variants including 11T, 13T, 16T, and 20T. The combined 80A speed controller has also been updated, the V2 version having much improved throttle feel and the internal resistance of the MOS tube has been reduced, again for reduced heat and improved efficiency.

Pro-Line Secure-Loc extended body mounts

The all-new Pro-Line body mount kit includes adjustable body mounts so you can fit more body options onto your Tenacity SCT & TT Pro. Just screw down the included setscrew into the body mount, place the o-ring over the setscrew and mount your body as you normally would, but with the added safety, security, and styling of Pro-Line’s innovative screw on body mounting system. This body mount system opens new body options, like tall SUV-style bodies, that you didn’t have before due to the tall posts included with this system.

Introducing the Demolisher 2.8″ tires from Pro-Line that feature extremely sharp chevron style tread that will bite into any surface. Just like full-size monster truck tires that have been modified and grooved for maximum performance, the Demolisher tires feature scale grooves in between the chevron style tread for exceptional scale realism and extremely sharp tread. T-Works machined thin shock pistons V2

T-Works have released these machined thin shock pistons V2 for both the Associated B6 and B74 vehicles as well as the TLR 22 and 22X-4 buggies. These pistons come in 3 different versions for each car with both having 2 holes in varying sizes, 1.6mm, 1.7mm and 1.8mm. The pistons are sold in sets of 4 with the blue versions for the Associated cars and the red for the TLR cars.

RDRP T6.2 +4mm LCG aluminium chassis

Based on the popular Revolution Design Racing Products +3mm chassis for the RC10 B6.2, the new T6.2 +4mm LCG 7075 aluminium chassis as the name suggests adds 4mm of wheelbase. This is to improve handling in high-bite track conditions such as carpet and Astroturf, making the truck easier and faster to drive at the same time. One step ahead of the kit item, the new chassis is already prepared to accommodate new-generation servo mounts such as the B6.3 kit item or the RDRP LCG Servo Mount set. Machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminium for strength and optimised flex characteristics, the black anodised surface is the perfect basis for a stealthy looking high-performance model race car. As with the previous buggy version, the chassis comes with a low centre of gravity 7075-T6 motor plate that puts your motor as low as possible into the chassis cut out. Both the chassis and motor plate work exclusively with the laydown gearbox. In addition to the LCG motor position, cut outs in the chassis plate move the battery position for an even lower overall centre of gravity. With its silver edge details and laser-etched logos the chassis will not only ensure performance, but also attract attention in the pits. The chassis is also compatible with most bolt-on servo and electronics balance weight sets.

JConcepts Tusk & Hunk Class 1 tires

JConcepts continues to muscle new scale off-road items into the market with the introduction of the Tusk 1.9” tire. After successful class 1 tires such as the Landmines and Bounty Hunters, the team focused on a new design with learned information by driving, crawling, and important input from a heap of development time by the JConcepts team. The team retained the 4.19” sizing making it an approved and scale-based tire, but the tread layout went under the scope for changes. The Tusk has an animal like instinct while it makes its way over terrain with hefty lugs and sidewall support. The centre of the tire starts with a V-shaped lug with multiple steps to the sides for additional grip while the green compound rubber flexes and contours to the landscape. The design team added large, staggered traction bars off the side continuing the V-shape pattern and while the shorter version steps in conjunction with the centre lug, the longer version fills a void underneath and meets up near the centre line of the tire.
