Ari Heinonen moves to Agama for 2015

Ari Heinonen moves to Agama for 2015

Nemo Racing have announced that top Finnish racer Ari Heinonen will be running the new Agama A215 Buggy in 2015. After coming to the UK for a test session with Darren Bloomfield, Ari was delighted with the performance of the new car and took only a few days to decide that he wanted to be part of the Nemo Racing family in 2015. Having set some stunning times at the Euros in 2014, he was unlucky to not make the main final as his pace was clearly good enough for such a top result. To complete his race package, Ari will use Bullitt engines, Beta tyres & accessories and Piranha Fuel.

Exotek TLR 22-4 rear camber block & front tower

Exotek TLR 22-4 rear camber block & front tower

New from Exotek for the TLR 22-4 4wd buggy are a new rear camber block and front shock tower. The rear camber block has been made from heavy duty machined 7075 and they have added 2 additional and important higher roll centre mounting points at the bottom of the camber mounts. The new lower mounting points are excellent for freeing up the buggy at the rear for more mid corner steering but also increased on power traction and stability. The front shock tower has been made from stealthy matte finish 5mm thick carbon fibre. Much stiffer and stronger for consistent damper action yet still light weight due to its extra machining and the wide open shape allows air to pass through for better body aero. The one piece shock tower eliminates the lower camber mount for improved durability and uses flat head screws for better shock tower alignment onto the bulkhead.

Elliott Harper wins on Schumacher debut

Elliott Harper wins on Schumacher debut

New Schumacher signing Elliott Harper has kicked off his 2015 campaign with a great result at last weekend’s popular Rug Racers event in the UK. Elliott was competing in the 13.5 boosted class and right from the off, his Mi5evo was dialled in as he set the fastest time TQ’ing 3 out of the 4 qualifying rounds. He then completed his impressive performance by winning the A final. Elliott had the following comments after the race finished:

I’m really happy to have started on such a positive note with Schumacher after only having run the Mi5evo a few times previous to this race. I ran the car in virtually box-standard trim, and it performed flawlessly all day. I had great traction and corner speed, even through the changing track conditions round-to-round. I’m looking forward to the upcoming carpet races even more now!
