Teamsaxo GT-500W 1/10th pan car

Following the release of their GT-500 1/10th pan car, Teamsaxo have announced their new LM-500W pan car. The new ‘W’ wider version is 200mm wide compared the previously available 190mm version. Essentially the same car, the car’s simple layout and handling makes it great for novice drivers while experienced drivers will be very competitive with the LM-500W thanks to its new updated differential and high quality carbon fibre.

Imbue RC10B5 adjustable aluminium axles

Imbue have released their new RC10B5 adjustable aluminium axles, made from lightweight, high-strength aluminium and anodized blue for a truly factory look. Shedding more than 6 grams of rotating mass over the stock units, these axles were designed to allow quick and easy track width adjustments, without requiring the racer to carry multiple sets of axles. By simply rearranging the included spacers, racers can adjust each side in 1mm increments, 0mm (stock), +1mm and +2mm. Adjustments can even be made with the wheels still on the car. Fits both B5 and B5M models.

STRC have released some limited edition parts for the Axial SCX10 and Axial Yeti. For the SCX10 there are now a line of red anodized option parts, Featuring the same high quality aluminuim and CNC machining precision, these parts are available in very limited quantities and only directly. For the Axial Yeti there are also a limited run of selected orange anodized option parts.

Seen at the recent World Championships in Florida, Much More have released their new LED Slim Pit Light stand. Available in anodised black or blue, the base is a small parts while the lamp itself is made up of 48pcs of Ultra high luminance LEDs which offers the highest efficiency as well as super low temperatures. The power switch integrates brightness control and whole system folds up to a neat and compact form for easy transport.

RDRP B5RM Battery holder plate

New from Revolution Design Racing Products is this carbon fibre battery plate for the Team Associated B5 rear motor buggy. The part was designed to replace the standard moulded composite plate with a more durable, more rigid and overall better looking part. CNC-machined from high-quality carbon fibre material the battery plate is usable with saddle pack and brick-type LiPo batteries as well as the standard AE and aftermarket thumbnuts.

Lars Hoppe joins Savox Factory team

Savox have announced the signing of front running German Lars Hoppe to their Factory team. The recent winner of the opening round of the Euro Touring Series in the Czech Republic will now use the Savox line of servos in his 1/10th electric Touring and 1/8th nitro on road cars during his 2015 campaign.

Nugroho wins 3 Stone Park Off Road Challenge

The 3 Stone Park 2014 Off Road Challenge was held on 21 December 2014 at 3 Stone Park Track in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The race was divided into 2 classes, Pro and Open Class and the race format consisted of three rounds of 10 minutes qualifying with your two best counting. After 3 rounds of qualifying in the Pro Class it was Jason Nugroho who took the TQ. Starting from pole position Jason got a clean start to the final and pulled away to take the win ahead of Kelvin Ngow and Eric Lim. In the open class it was Ryan Stocek, who just a few weeks earlier changed to Xray who took the TQ spot and would go on to take the win from Danny K and Ricky Teoh.

Naoto Matsukura joins Muchmore Racing

Naoto Matsukura joins Muchmore Racing

Muchmore Racing have announced the signing of multiple IFMAR 1/12th World Champion and current Electric Touring Car World Champion Naoto Matsukura to use their line of electronics from 2015 onwards. The former Yokomo driver who has still to decide on a chassis sponsor will use Muchmore Racing’s Fleta ZX Motor, new Impact FD2 LiPo batteries and Fleta ESCs at the upcoming TITC, EOS, ETS and upcoming IFMAR World Championships in Japan. Naoto had this to say:

First, I have to say thank you to Team Yokomo and specifically Mr. Tom Yokobori, Mr. Robert Itoh and Mr. Naoya Kitagawa for the last several years together. I will always have great memories with those member. Now I have a change. I have to say thanks to Mr. Jang and Mr. Kobayashi Yusuke for giving me this great opportunity with Muchmore Racing. The biggest reason I have a contract with the Muchmore Racing team. I have been last world championship impressed by the good quality and performance of the Marc Rheinard use new Fleta 1S ESC and Fleta 1S Motor.
