Round one of the French Winter Nationals was held in Montbrison. In the Touring Modified class Lucas Urbain (VBC) and Alexandre Laurent (Xray) battled for the TQ spot with the better end for Alexandre whose last minute shot in the final qualifier handed him the overall TQ and the pole position for the triple A-mains. The final legs then were as tight as the qualifiers. Lucas would come out successful in the opening A-final but Alexandre stroke back in A2 and A3 to take the overall win from Lucas. The forth round of the French Electric Touring Car Nationals was held in Tours. In the Modified class Leo Arnold secured himself the pole position early by TQing the first two qualifying rounds. In the opening final Leo had a coming together with a competitor and he ended the leg early but wins in the second and third A-main got him the overall win in front of Alexandre Laurent and Thomas Vingeron in 2nd and 3rd respectively. The opening round of the French Electric On-Road Nationals was held at the Lentilly club close to Lyon. In the Touring Car Modified class Alexandre Laurent grabbed the pole position for the finals by winning two out of the five qualifying rounds. In time for the finals rain began to fall, mixing things up a bit. The 3rd round of the French Winter Nationals was held in Pierrelatte this past weekend. In the Touring Car Modified class the race for the TQ position was on between Mathieu Briere and Alex Laurent and at the end it was Alex who was able to win four qualifying rounds to take the overall TQ for the finals. The triple A-mains then saw Alex conserving his qualifying performance as he win the first two legs to take the day’s win from Mathieu Briere who was able to score in the final A-main. The 2nd round of the French Winter Nationals was held at the AMC Tours club in central France. In the Touring Car Modified class Maxime Favrelle (Yokomo) took the pole position for the finals and later on was able to bring home the overall win from Remi Callens (Xray) and Jeremy Limoges (Xray). In the Touring Car stock class Jeremy Delalondre (Yokomo) came out successful from Pierre Delorme (Xray) and young Steve Favrelle (Yokomo). The fourth round of the French nitro touring car National Championships took place last weekend in Sallanches (Haute-Savoie) in France. In the Elite class it was European B Champion Frederic Bourrillon that too the top qualifying spot with his Orion powered KM chassis, while in the National class Capricorn/OS driver Vincent Berthon was the TQ man. In the Elite finals Capricorn/Orion driver Léo Arnold came out on top ahead of team mate Basile Concialdi in 2nd with Xray/RB driver Thomas Guillon 3rd.
