Martin Bayer wins German nitro buggy nationals Rd1

The first out of two rounds for this year’s German 1/8th nitro buggy championship was held at the LA Speedway in Landshut in the South of Germany. Nearly 130 drivers battled for the win on a bumpy, challenging track. The cold weather made things unpleasant and at the end of the 40 minute final Xray/LRP’s Martin Bayer took the win one lap ahead of Carsten Keller (Kyosho/Bullitt) and Jörn Neumann (Team Durango/FX). The second and decisive round of the championship will take place this coming weekend on a track close to the Munich airport.
