Hupo Honigl and Team C part ways

Multiple European Champion Hupo Honigl has confirmed his departure from current chassis sponsor Team C. Having only joined the team this time last year after a long spell at Durango, the Austrian racer had a competitive season racing the company’s electric car but struggled with an un competitive 1/8th scale. Yet to confirm his new sponsor for 2015 he released the following statement.

I would like to say thank you to Stephen Shih from TeamC and Jürgen Laux from Absima for a wonderful and successful year and their great support. Although it was only a 1 year journey for me I made a lot of new friends there and had good fun. I was super happy with everything but now i have a new challenge and I´m more then motivated to start fresh again, stay tuned…
