Team Associated RC10 40th Anniversary Green Edition

Continuing with the celebrations of their 60th anniversary, Team Associated has released the RC10 Green 40th Anniversary Edition kit.  An alternate reproduction of Roger Curtis’s world championship-winning buggy design that changed the world of RC off road racing forever.  The RC10 (RC coming from Roger’s initials) started as the vision of the Team Associated founder and became one of the most iconic RC cars in history.  The RC10 Classic range features fully adjustable four-wheel independent suspension, an aluminium alloy monocoque tub and race-proven hardware throughout. Strength and durability are standard equipment.  For maximum traction, the RC10 suspension is damped by long throw, fluid-filled racing shocks, using machined alloy cylinders and drill blank shafts for silky smooth action.

JConcepts S35-4 Evo P2 Body

JConcepts has officially released its latest 1:8 Buggy body shell design with the introduction of the P2 for the Sworkz S35-4 Evo.  Debuting it at the 2024 Mugen Challenge and then bringing it to the recent IFMAR 1:8 Offroad World Championship in Spain, the P2 was originally created for the 1:10 racing.  The Florida company built up a prototype using styling cues from the World Championship winning body used by Spencer Rivkin in 2019, and reaching back to 2010, they experimented with a tall stabilising fin on the rear of the body.  For a fresh season of competition, JConcepts has incorporated a small mini fin placed behind the rear of the cab that does not interfere with the engine head.  In the rear, the ramping feature that is so popular on the P2, creeps up behind the cab and engine head to create extra force and stability.  At the front of the body, the powerful and wide cab of the Punisher series pushes the P2 through the corners with speed.  The top of the cab is reinforced, and the fin stabiliser whisks through the turns and has a driving sensation like the S15.  The sidepod has built-in clearance with heavy chamfering at 2 angles and multi-angle S15 winglets.  The windshield has a large format, completely recessed, and includes railing up the front and over the cab.  In front, a deflection shield stands strong supporting the front of the body and allowing multiple angles for aerodynamic catch.

JConcepts S15 bodies for XB2’24 | XB4’24

Continuing the roll out of its S15 1:10 buggy body, JConcepts has released versions to fit the 2WD and 4WD kits offerings from Xray, the XB2’24 and the XB4’24.  Debuting at the 2023 1:10 Offroad World Championships in Arizona, JConcepts S15 body is available in both standard and a lightweight option, the body ships with window mask, decal sheet and two of the latest Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings for a quick transition from preparation to racing.  The S15 follows the chassis shape like a glove and the tidy arrangement is free of unwanted gaps.  The centre line roof fin helps the body stand up to rigorous demands of crashes and off-track excursions and while on the track, provides straight line tracking ability.  The top of the side pod rolls into the rear end section helping with the force placed just in front of the rear tires.  Just behind the cab, there is a trim-able section dedicated to rear escape of hot air and inner shell build up.
