FTW B5M Reactor bodyshell

FTW B5M Reactor bodyshell

For The Win introduce their Reactor bodyshell for the Team Associated B5M mid motor buggy. Striking the optimal balance between aggressive down force and stabilising side force, the body offers a somewhat mild cab forward design and large side windows that make it stand out. For 17.5 Stock racers with motors geared to the ragged edge, a moulded air intake is included which, when bolted to the body with the included feather-weight nylon hardware, channels fresh air directly into the motor area and also the speed controller, if mounted inline. Included with the body come two Fulcrum wings, a set of window masks and a decal sheet.

VRC Pro Column – November

In the latest instalment of their VRC Pro column Virtual Racing Industries introduce the VRC Worlds schedule and they show how realistic the RC car simulator is. Starting with the VRC Worlds schedule, six major events on three exciting tracks lay ahead. Yes, just three tracks because this year VRI have combined classes to race on the same track, just like what happens at real events. Last year, 2654 racers participated in the various classes including some really big names for the real RC racing scene, like Ronnefalk, Joor, Wollanka, Craig, Gillespie, and Lutz.

TRG working on budget pan car kit

TRG working on budget pan car kit

Japanese company TRG, know for their highly complex F104 and F103 conversion kits, such as the TRG114, are currently working on a simple pan car chassis for Tamiya front and rear axles. The prototype shows a 1-piece fibre glass chassis with an integrated rear power pod as part of the main chassis rather than a 2-piece solution as seen on the original F104 and F103 cars. Cut-outs left and right make for a “T-bar” design that allows the motor pod to flex as it is needed to create rear traction and side-bite. The front and rear of the chassis take F103 200mm (and we guess also F104 190mm) suspension parts and the car is designed for the use with GT and sports car type of bodyshells. The car/chassis is still in prototype stages and we bring you more information as we get them.

Hudy Exclusive Edition cargo bag

Hudy Exclusive Edition cargo bag

Hudy introduce their new Exclusive Edition cargo bag. Sporting dimensions of 78x51x27cm the roller bag is large enough to carry cars, electric equipment and tools while being compact enough to fit into low-height car trunks or to use them when travelling by plane or bus. An aluminium frame makes for a low weight while adding the needed rigidity as do the reinforced walls with printed Hudy graphics and the two heavy-duty plastic bars on the bottom. Soft rubber handles and ball-raced wheels make handling easy and the spacious interior has enough room for the 5 large boxes that come included with the bag. Alternatively the hauler bag also takes 8 small boxes or combinations of both.
