MIP Pucks drive system for RT6

MIPRT6Pucks

MIP now have the Pucks Shiny drive system for the Kyosho RT6 stadium truck available. The set makes use of MIP’s own Pucks system that greatly reduces outdrive and driveshaft wear by using special composite cushions, called pucks, instead of conventional drive pins to connect the outdrives and driveshafts. The pucks also make for a smoother drivetrain action both for stock and modified racing. The “Shiny” system comes with captured C-CVA dogbones, RT6-style wheel axles, new outdrives, diff rings and diff gear, as well as an assortment of MIP grease and thread lock.

Azarashi Roadseal touring car prototype

Japanese company Azarashi, known for their optional buggy bodyshells and 4WD buggy conversion kits, are about to enter the on-road market with another conversion. Teasing with a somewhat blurry photo it appears like the designers combined their Team Associated B44.1 Grayseal conversion with short length touring car wishbones and a front bumper to create the Roadseal, a 1/10th 4WD touring car with rear motor, backward mounted speed controller and a rear located battery compartment for 2S shorty LiPo battery packs. Azarashi do not go into detail about test results or a rough release schedule but we bring you more information and images as soon as they become available.

Peter Harder wins Danish nationals Rd1

Peter Harder wins Danish nationals Rd1

The first round of the Danish nitro off-road nationals took place on a purpose-built track in an indoor horse training arena. The qualifying saw Oliver Fisher being the dominant driver so he quite easily took TQ but Peter Harder was in pursuit and was able to take the lead in the main final only on the second lap. Peter then started to build quite gap on the second place driver and he was close to lapping Oilver halfway through the final. But then Peter started to struggle due to an erratic behaving car allowing Oliver to close up. With around 5 minutes to go Oliver was on Peter’s tail and then things got even worse for the Xray driver as a tyre started to come off but at the end Harder was able to maintain a 0.8s gap handing him the win in front of Oliver Fisher and Jan D. Hansen.
