Team Losi Racing’s Adam Drake won Pro Truck at the 2014 Battle of the Sikest at Thunder Alley R/C Raceway last weekend. Drake TQ’d all four rounds of qualifying and won the first two A mains to take the overall victory with his Novarossi powered TLR 8ight T 3.0 equipped with Pro-Line M3 Holeshot tires. Drake also TQ’ed Pro Buggy and finished second behind Ryan Lutz.

The 6th Round of the Pro10 RC Lemans series was held at the MCC Rhein-Ahr in Bad Breisig, near Koblenz/Germany last weekend. After 3 Rounds of qualifying Tim Altmann took TQ ahead of his brother Kai and Tobias Weist with Sven Stoffels and Marcel Ellissen completing the top 5. Tim took an easy win in the first 2 legs to wrap up the overall win while behind him it was Sven and Kai with a 2nd and 3rd place each. The 3rd final was totally wet and only 3 drivers started and so with a win for Tobias and his 4th place from the first final he could secure the runner up spot while 3rd place went to Kai Altmann on tiebreak against Sven. The final race of the series will take place at the legend track in Oberhausen/Germany in October when the overall series win will be decided between Tim and Tobias.

Designed by TI in close cooperation with Gene Hickerson who owns the copyright it is a super easy, fast and efficient way to glue your tires. Precision CNC machined from aluminium it can only be used with AKA EVO truggy wheels (rim) or a similar design.

Mugen have announced the latest addition to their Beat engine line with the release of the BT9 .21 onroad engine. This 9 port Novarossi engine features a 14.5mm tuned crankshaft and ceramic main bearing and is based on the Keep-On engine from the Italian manufacturer.

Awesomatix have released a newly designed Double Cardan Joint system for their A700 chassis. The new easy to assemble design helps reduce backlash with improved concentricity and precision and is said to last three times longer than the current design. Through using shifted slot parts of the universal ring the user can also tune the angular speed fluctuations to create chatter which can be desirable in some conditions.

T-Work’s Products have introduced new lightweight aluminium serrated M4 wheel nuts. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium with the anti loosening serration machined after the anodisation process creating the sharpest serration possible for nearly zero chance of loosening during normal operation. From Serpent for the new Natrix 748 are these carbon inner rim covers, which are mounted on the uprights and or steering blocks of the car and depending on the track and grip create more steering and overall a more stable car. Supplied with the necessary hardware the Natrix 748 steering blocks and uprights are prepared to use these already. Also 747 users may use them but it requires that the steering blocks and uprights are mounted to the car.
