LRP 30C 3400mAh hardcase LiPo battery

LRP introduce the new Power Pack 3400 hardcase LiPo battery. Build from 30C cells the battery mimics the dimensions of a NiMH racing pack making it ideal not only for a wide range of RTR vehicles but also nitro starter boxes and many other applications that need “racing pack”-style batteries. The pack comes in a protective hardcase and is pre-wired with a Tamiya-type connector and an EHR balancer port.

Registration for the race that will see a touring car modified, stock and a 1/12th scale class started yesterday on myrcm.ch. Entries are limited for the race so make sure to register in time.

Marc Rheinard wins 2013 BIRC

The first annual Bangkok International RC Car Championship took place this weekend at the new Huge RC track in the Thailand capital. With a number of top drivers in attendance over the many classes, it was reigning World Champion Jilles Groskamp who took the TQ spot in the modified Touring car class ahead of 3-time Champion Marc Rheinard in 2nd with Nicholas Lee completing the top 3 for Tamiya. With Jilles flying back to the Netherlands on the Sunday for filming duties, Marc would take over the pole position for the A-main and made the most of his starting position by taking A1 and 2 to seal the overall win early. Andy Moore would come through from 5th on the grid to 4th in A2 and to take the win in A3 to claim the runner up spot, while Nicholas Lee would take 3rd overall.

Xray XB4 6 degree composite C-hubs

Xray introduce these 6° C-hubs for the XB4 buggy. They allow for quick roll centre adjustment using different thickness shims under the camber link ball stud and are made from a tough moulded composite. A large opening for the CVD assembly prevents any clearance issues even at large steering angles and allows for easy maintenance. The C-hubs are marked for identification, they fit all XB4 kits and become available separately as left and right variant.
