G-Force G6P AC multi-chemistry charger

Available soon from G-Force is the G6P AC multi-chemistry 80W charger. Offering up to 10A charge current the device is housed in a double deck aluminium case with the lower compartment containing an 18A power supply that not only feeds the charger but it also offers three 12V and one 5V/2.1A USB output to power your mobile device, tyre truer, tyre heater, pit lamp and more. As for the charger, the device is good for the use with up to 6S LiXX and 15 cell NiXX battery packs, it offers a 5A discharge function, integrated balancer and Mini USB dock. The G6P will become available soon.

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce this fibreglass option parts set for the Team Associated RC10 Classic kit. The set contains a new front and rear shock tower, both of which are of an updated design and offer additional shock mounting positions compared to the stock items. Also included is a large battery mount for a more secure battery fitment and also a transmission brace that replaces the unsightly nylon plate of the original kit. All parts fit without modification on the RC10 Classic and all vintage 6-gear RC10 kits. The shock towers and battery brace also suit all RC10 with Stealth transmission.

Patrick Hofer wins in Stäfa

The International Indoor Offroad Race in Stäfa, Switzerland took place last weekend. In the 2WD and 4WD buggy classes Team Associated’s Patrick Hofer dominated the proceeding by taking a double TQ. In the finals he again checked out and took the win in both of the buggy classes early. In 4WD Markus Metsch came in 2nd while Micha Widmaier completed the podium in 3rd. In the 2WD class Micha Widmaier and Fabian Luca Widmer lined up 2nd and 3rd behind Patrick.

Hiro Seiko have new titanium hex socket screw kits for the Yokomo B-Max4 III, the Xray XB4 and XB4 2WD as well as the Team Durango DEX410v4 available. The sets are made as a direct replacement for the stock steel screws, they save weight, add durability and a certain amount of bling to the chassis.

Gran Prix Russia 2014 – Announcement

The organisers of the Gran Prix Russia announce of the third running of their annual international indoor off-road event. The race will be held in Moscow from the 11th to the 13th of April on a carpet covered track measuring 30×18 meters. So far the event attracted 200 entries, there are still places available so if you are interested you can enter. The race will feature top racers from Russia, Asia and Europe to battle it out in 8 electric classes covering OffRoad 1:18, OffRoad 1:10, OffRoad 1:8. Team Associated have first option parts for the new B5 2WD buggy available in the form of two lightweight aluminium screw sets. Available for both the B5 and B5M the kits contain several blue anodised aluminium screws with countersunk and button heads to replace the original black steel fasteners with lighter and cooler looking items.

Tekno RC announce new TiNi-coated rear shock shafts for the NT48 nitro truggy and ET48 electric truggy. The shafts feature a Titanium-Nitride coating to ensure the smoothest operation in any condition. The surface treatment also provides improved strength and surface properties that allow the shaft to travel with less friction through the shock unit. The result is improved jump landing, bump handling and better consistency throughout a race. The shafts are sold in pairs and are available now.
