Exotek Flex type chassis & servo mount holder

Exotek Flex type chassis & servo mount holder

Exotek have released a new 2.5mm Flex type chassis set for the Exotek F1R conversion. Prototype testing has shown this new design to offer increased overall front and rear grip thanks to the flex traits of this thinner chassis material and extra rear cut out. The chassis also updates the side links to an angled geometry to increase rear pod traction. The angled links reduces link binding when the rear pod is articulated. Included is a 1mm spacer for the front to make sure the front wing does not scrape on the ground and also included is a 2.5mm rear pod plate. Also new is a 2.5mm thick carbon servo mount holder and a 3mm thick carbon u-brace for F104 series cars and some F103 cars without top plates. Excellent when used with Exotek F103 and F104 alloy servo mounts.

Richard Volta wins French 1/8 On-Road Nats Rd2

Richard Volta wins French 1/8 On-Road Nats Rd2

Last weekend the second round of the French 1/8 On-Road Nationals was held in Longic near Dijon. Free practice on Friday and Saturday was rained out so everybody had to start qualifying with only a few laps of practice which made it very challenging for Richard Volta to set up his Velox V8 “eleven” as he had no experience on this track. Finally the sun came out and the rest of the race was held under good weather conditions. With a safe qualifying Richard managed to finish the qualifying in 2nd position just one second behind the pole-setter Romain Picard. Starting from the front in the semi-final B he easily took the win claiming the pole-position of the main final as his time was faster than winner’s time of the semi-final A. At the start of the final he could defend his lead, but a few laps into the race Richard made a small mistake dropping him down to second. In the following laps Richard was able to catch up and took over the lead again. With his safe driving style he controlled the race at the front crossing the finishing line in first position ahead of Thomas Eytard in 2nd and Christophe Louis 3rd.

RDRP DEX210 Plus11 chassis

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the Plus11 chassis for the Team Durango DEX210 buggy. The chassis is designed to replace the kit chassis with an 11 millimeter longer variant. Extensive testing showed that the Plus11 chassis outperforms both the standard length kit as well as all original or aftermarket +8mm chassis in terms of weight balance, jumping characteristics, handling and overall performance by creating a buggy that is easier to drive and easier to set-up. Precision CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised black for a more durable finish the RDRP Plus11 chassis is more than twice as rigid as the Team Durango standard chassis for a more precise on-track feeling and improved durability.
